  1. I think Dutch really cared about them but his own ego and overconfidence in himself (and Micah who fed Dutch's ego by always approving even the most needlesly dangerous plan) ultimately got the better of him.

I think Uncle is also right when he said Dutch want to be an American King with his knights. Maybe a benevolant one but still a king far from the "anarchist" believes he prieched. And i think Ducht never admited it to himself

  2. honestly, it’s Dutch’s fault that Arthur died, Micah killed Arthur but Dutch kept trusting Micah. Even though they only knew each other for a few months in the event’s of 1899. And also, don’t forget Dutch didn’t do anything in the mountain, he could’ve shot Micah because Arthur is a “friend” to him. I also forgot in one of the missions of chapter 6, when someone attacked Arthur with a knife, Dutch just left, Eagle Flies was the one who saved him. It’s normal to think that Micah was the one who “killed” Arthur, but if you think deeper, there could be a hidden antagonist in the shadows.

  3. The way I see it, the only reference to Sadie in rdr1 is in the Javier Escuella mission when Javier says “I can give you bill. And Dutch-Dutch is in Columbia I can take you straight to him.” In the epilogue, Sadie mentions that she was going to go south after the events of the epilogue so maybe Dutch hunted her down?

  4. Sadie was probably hanged or killed some way by either the law or by other outlaws, guessing due to the fact that from what we saw, she was not gonna redeem herself and was gonna keep doing what she did in the epilogue. Charles may have gone up to Canada, following Rains Fall and the rest of Wapiti, just guessing based off of how much he helped them. I’m pretty sure Karen drank herself to death shortly after everything transpired. Tilly, Mary-Beth and Reverend probably lived out the rest of their lives peacefully and Jack lived until the 1990s, but we don’t know if he did it in hiding or by integrating himself back into society.
