Jann Mardenborough, a British teenager won a competition organized by Nissan and Sony that turned Gran Turismo players into real-life drivers. 1. It was a sloppy copy paste biopic, also the whole movie was edited as if it were a montage. Main side characters were dramatized, the theatrical aspect to all his races, like where was his qualifying, all these photo finishes…?

Timing of events were off by years, for the motivation of the characters sure, but still not accurate. He has stated his dad was supportive and encouraged him to do something he loved, just do it at the top level.

All the real truths vs the film make it just another theatrical mess vs the true and unique aspect of his story.

Like open the film up with him in that 6 week race, getting encouraged from his family, tho showing he doesn’t think he can do it. Teach about racing in that open, his flaws, his tribe…

It was an ass of a film.
