  1. A pixel cRPG came out this week. Under $10, made by one guy. I have 30 hours in the game, and it's wonderful! Check out Spalttercat's video on Caves of Lore, and you be like many viewers of that video, you'll love it and buy it! There's a whole thread on the game's forums from people who saw the video, bought the game and are praising it to the sky!

  2. I really want to get into Destiny 2 but it's chaos as a new player, more than Warframe (which has almost no tutorial) with most of the game blocked off behind DLC and no clear path of progression (just randomly buy DLCs and hope it's not a dead content Island)… The only way I could see myself playing Destiny 2 is if they introduce a full game DLC bundle. Even then, I would still be cautious, because I got into Destiny 1 on PS3 w/ the full DLC bundle "TTK" with the promise that all new DLC would be free going forward- I couldn't even do a single raid cause the "free" DLC was next gen only (buy a PS4) and the last before Destiny 2.

  3. Just so everyone knows, Roboquest is awesome. Excellent controls, mobility and gunplay. Build synergies are fun and powerful, and there is compelling progression—both meta and per-run. Sniping weak points with hyper-accurate weapons feels super-good here, and you can do so with no sacrifice to mobility. It runs like butter on a 2080 ti / i9 9900k, offering a silky 144 fps @ 1440p without breaking a sweat. Turning up the difficulty after your first win actually makes the enemies more aggressive/attack more frequently. I definitely recommend Roboquest; it's some of the most satisfying and intuitive FPS gameplay I've experienced in a while. It's refreshingly light but solid, and it offers a nice challenge. It just feels great to play.

pro tip: you can start sprinting while airborne, and you'll immediately accelerate to running speed in mid-air. This technique has saved my bacon many times, and feels so ninja-like to pull off on purpose in an appropriate context.

  4. Bruh, Callisto Protocol sale expectations were wild and totally unrealistic. It took RE 7 I think 4 years to reach 5M units sold and it's one of best entries on the franchise, a franchise mind you that is a staple on the gaming scene since the 90s. Even if it was Dead Space spiritual successor, how they tough they would achieve that on the first year is truly delusional for me.

  5. blizzard shows time and time again that they absolutely loathe the employees that make them so much money, they are actively hostile to the people who work so hard to make blizzard's games fun

I hate blizzard, I hate Activision, I hate Microsoft

  7. I have a quiet hope that the last of us season 2 won't follow the actual game story and will instead create a unique plot from the time in between game 1 and 2 :copium:

  8. Honestly the playground games news makes me even more worried for the Fable reboot… Like, making a better game than Lionhead isn't THAT monumental of a task in itself, afterall the only real competitor in that lineup is Fable 1, the other two being disappointing in a lot of ways, with the 3rd just being basically the 2nd game with even less features. But due to nostalgia and hype, expectations are high on this game, and we've still not really heard much about it so far.

  10. "No idea why that did as well as it did" you're one of the best voices in the industry my guy, your opinion is respected specifically because you're both alright with getting critical and always make sure to shout out the indie games.

  11. 1:37 personally I’m not expecting much to happen in this game I mean it is called the day before so nothing should have happened yet.

It’s the day before aka just a normal day, the most eventful thing that should happen is OMG we ran out of milk dun dun duerrrrrr.

  12. 8:56 and this is why I still refuse to use blizzard products, just when I’m thinking “”you know what it’s been a while since blizzard openly did anything shitty and Diablo looks lik….. oh no they didn’t even let me finish the sentence before messing up again””

  13. 10:40 well it would have been a cool idea if it was a single player game but sadly No it’s a 4player online co-op thing that’s a hard pass for me as it’s either going to be too hard for a single player experience or too easy for a team of 4 people.

  14. It’s insane to me that naughty dog is not thinking of using everything it’s learned to go back to jak and daxter. Such missed potential especially considering that there is real hunger for that series to come back and be done well.
