THE CYBERTRUCK IS FINALLY HERE – a Truck Owners Thoughts

The Cybertruck has arrived. Different than expected in many ways… but still a BEAST of a machine that I cant wait to get my hands on. As a truck owner myself, who drives an Electric Truck, I have a few thoughts about the Tesla delivory event. And I have a few opinions on how the Cybertruck will be able to handle being an actual truck… Check out the Electric Jetski factory here: https://youtu.be/qKGyJ8Ff9Ds?si=U6vBSeToqQUy8VE0

  1. The importance of the cybertruck lies in the fact that Elon Musk collected all of the technological low hanging fruit that was discovered and developed since the turn of the last century and put it into that truck. This changes everything for everybody.

  2. Here is something nobody talks about. I’m surprised the government doesn’t put a stop to the Cybertruck. Since it’s bullet proof and it’s basically like a tank on wheels (10k lbs). This would be the perfect vehicle for criminals to drive around. How’s a cop going to even catch it or shoot at it if it’s bullet proof. I can totally see the Cybertruck being used for a bank robbery.

  3. β€œDoes not rust”, are you sure about that? Let’s park it next to the beach and see. Let a Canadian have it for a winter and see what happens. Talk about energy density πŸ˜‚. Equivalent to 3.7 gallons of regular gasoline. Better than gas powered trucks? How is that?

  4. I think a lot of new owners are going to either be shocked at how easily those body panels scratch or twist themselves into pretzels saying its worth it to be bulletproofish.

  5. Damn Glad I live in North America where we can BUY AND DRIVE these trucks without all those STUPID Euro road regulations! I'm gonna upgrade mine with a bigger lift, some PROPER off-road worthy 42 inch M/T tires, Front and back heavy duty bumpers and bush bars with 20,000 lbs winches front and back, put a set of 100,000 lumens RGB LED light bars front, back, left and right WITH infrared and ultraviolet light banks for my Short/Medium/long-wave thermal nightvision FLIR cameras, add a flat ultra-high-gain fractal antenna to the back moon roof for my log distance Starlink, Iridium and Shortwave communications AND then I'm putting in custom bed rack and camper setup with lifting double-wall winter-insulated tent system.

I will ALSO add 250 Kilowatt Ballard Fuel Cell in the back bed that is connected to some 80 lbs propane bottles that will charge the truck while its driving for 1000+ miles (1600 km) driving range. Add in 1000 lbs (400 kg) of MREs and Freeze Dried Camp food, my inflatable kayak, various winter-rated clothing, camping, fishing and hunting gear, Coleman camp kitchen setup with hot water sink, portable toilet and hot water shower, portable laptop and tablet computer, playsation/Xbox attached to ruggedized 55 inch 4K OLED screen, my video gear, 10 Kilowatt solar charging system and my portable EV mountain bike means I'm set for sustaining and living well for MONTHS in the giant Western Canada and USA mountain backcountry!

  6. At 6: 30 when you say glass is glass and shatters everytime that is NOT TRUE! Some very thick models of multi-layered Gorilla Glass-V and Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Glass (a version of Sapphire) are essentially Level-4 BULLETPROOF! You only need 6 mm worth to make those types of "Glass" wide-area-impact-pressure-proof and sharp-point impact proof!

That is a tad expensive to do the multi-layering process BUT prices are coming down fast enough to make it practical for vehicle use by 2025/2026!

  7. What makes you say at 7:56 that those electric trucks are miles ahead of their gas powered counter parts? Sure, I can see how there are some perks to an electric truck, but there are also perks ( if not more ) to a gas or diesel truck.

  8. Zach, I'm like 63 percent sure I saw your rivian on black Friday, it was white and had the "Not a Wheelchair" Decals on the side, I saw it at Cal Ranch in American Fork, did I miss a chance to say hi to one of my favorite YouTubers?

  9. What in the world did you prove by not shattering a piece of frozen stainless steel which, by the way, is not impervious to rust. Stainless steel body parts are practically impossible to reshape if they are dented. Yes, I know that Elon is planning to send the Cybertruck to Mars. Less chance of a collision there? Not really if you are outside during one of the frequent sand storms or meteor showers.

  10. Wow, I was actually in the market for a truck that could handle the rigors of outer-space. With no crumble zone, I have to wonder what amount of force is needed to keep you restrained from flying into the steering wheel in a collision.
