This whole thing is so ridiculous, everyone is claiming their own inaccuracies to be factual when in reality no one knows if he was actually samurai or not, everyone is purposely leaving out evidence to push their points and the native thing is horse s*** because you can’t have it both ways, you claim it’s always been about the natives but Edward is the exception because that particular game was about pirates? That’s how fifth graders argue, you leave out pieces of information to support your claims. Plus it’s amazing how no one is pointing out the fact that the creed and bushido cancel each other out and more like a samurai being part of the creed is absurd.

Japanese gamers are not happy. First off, every other assassins creed character was from the culture the game was about. Second, a black guy easily cutting down Japanese men like they're bamboo is really fucked up. It's like we're saying, "yeah, Japanese men have always been weak. A black guy would have destroyed any samurai." 🙄😂🤣

We all know guys, this is Ubisoft, the company that has made ridiculous decisions many times. We shouldn't ask why the protagonist in the Japan-based game is black, we should ask why its price is higher than normal, because we don't know what's waiting for us. Maybe we will see the best story in the series, let's see the game, play its story and then talk 😊.

Im not even against a fictionalized game about a badass samurai Yasuke. Its a neat idea. But it shouldnt have been an assassins creed game. It should be a game that solely revolves around playing as Yasuke and experiencing Japan from a foreigners perspective. Would kind of be like if Shogun was a game but instead they chose Yasuke as the main character instead of William (whom is the real dude i think shogun is loosely based on).
Most people dont know Japan if this is a problem. You can literally research the origins of Japan. Africa definitely inspired the Asians of Japan. They themselves will tell you that.
