We’ve all been trying to chase that gaming horror feel of playing Dead Space for the first time, and we’re all hoping that The Callisto Protocol will fulfill that. A great space horror game that washes out the bad taste of Dead Space 3 would be the best present for the upcoming holidays. Let’s jump into my The Callisto Protocol review to see just how this game holds up to it’s creative legacy.

A classic space scary game. When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos. To survive, Jacob must battle his way to safety to escape Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath the surface of Callisto. i just beat the game the other day, tried the max difficulty change after beating Ferris i did not get the max security achievement. dont know if that bug was fixed that day or i did it wrong
I was frustrated and bored all the way up to the last boss. He took the cake of frustration and made me quit the game.
Definitely wasn't a great experience
I just wanted to say that you’re doing a great job, Jirard. Thank you.
Idk man, I think the game is pretty awesome.
Yeah that maximum difficulty trophy worked ps5, just done it. 😂 Had to save it after the last boss, run to the end watch the credits. Then close the gsme, load up the save and re do the running to the end again and it popped up.
Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings but Dead Space 3 is a great game and it's severely underated never understood the hate sure it was not as good as the first 2 but it's still a good Dead Space game
I did 2 runs. One on hard and one on easy for the collectibles, all achievements. I really loved it. However it's not as good as dead space
Dead Space lets me play my way – I ain't here for Dodge Simulator 2022.
This is the perfect game for Gohan
Nice to see the completionist a little fired up 🔥
Oh , the whine road 🎶
I thought the game was fine at best
So I wouldn't have been as annoyed at the linearity of the game, and the disappointing boos fights/ lack of modes and stuff because it is not a AAA game, BUT the fuckers decided to demand $70 for it. This game is worth $50 AT MOST and that's with the Season Pass.
I beat the game and needed two trophies to complete the game. Find all the collectibles and find the secret rooms. I’m replaying it now cause to 100% it and not touch the game till the DLC. As a devoted dead space fan I was a bit disappointed by this games choices. I’m only more amped for the deadspace remake now knowing that that will be true next gen horror.
Yeah I just beat it like a half hour ago and I'm thinking wait a minute that's it? They recycle two bosses three or four times and then call it a day. Pretty bad considering they've been working on this for a few years. I wasn't looking forward to dead space but now I kind of am cuz it's going to be better than this
Everything that's not a 10/10 masterpiece nowadays is disappointing it seems.
Imo it’s crazy how ppl will get excited for a game after hearing “from the ppl who made (insert game here)”. This is striking distance’s first game as a developer yes there may be some people who are in the company who did great, but that was a long time ago. Just look at Turtle rock and b4b. We gotta stop expecting people to keep hitting home runs when it’s been a while since they were even at bat. Not saying we excuse everything but if we want to see these guys do great again we can’t just accost them for trying something new and not doing the greatest. I personally wasn’t disappointed because the game advertised animations above everything. From that point on I knew what it was.
Wow those combat mechanics are… not what I expected
The verdict on this game is really disappointing, but I hope that the studio somehow gets enough juice to produce a sequel because this world looks amazing and oozes potential
This game saw the Blade wielding enemies from the Batman Arkham series and decided to make that the bulk of their game play
yup
Someone needs to mod the Punch Out theme into this game as background music.
I really like the verdict at the beginning. I'm still watching the whole vid, because your content is awesome, but the early verdict gives the opportunity to get your general thoughts without getting spoiled. It's something I'd love for you to keep, especially for newer games
