  1. Hey guys I just found out that apparently they're releasing NG+ mode as free DLC next year. I still don't think that excuses it not being there on launch but it's better than nothing?

  2. I think people are morally just for either not playing at all or potentially pirating a game with Denuvo Anti-Tamper. Devs putting that garbage in their games need to learn their lesson.

  3. I'm sure you know and this is probably a useless thing to bring up, but squeezing through vents and walls I just meant to hide loading screens make the world seem immersive.

  4. 21:00 THIS! My whole experience through this game I was wondering why they didn't add manual save points. This is why manual save points rule. It's not like they can't have both autosaves and savepoints. It's not like games have never done that before.

  5. This seems to be a Dead Space ripoff.

Sorry, that's the truth. This game plays like Dead Space but with a different everything-else. I wonder if its creator is truly a one-trick pony, or just wanted to develop an off-brand Dead Space game.

Alternatively: he's a genius and just created the first ever strand-type DeadLike game.

  6. 11:21 Now I'm not implying whether or not this was intentional design, but I feel like the weapon swap time can be a fantastic element to add to survival horror games to increase tension. I'd say it would be much better in this game if the UI for selecting a weapon wasn't so bad. Enemies do tend to magnetize to the player and won't let you move anywhere safely, which I think kind of hurts the game more than anything else, especially combined with slow healing.

  7. I recall Dead Space having these sorts of complaints when it came out – poor performance, combat is clunky, "Isaac moves way too slow," "It's not scary enough," "This is just a Resident Evil ripoff." I also remember people giving Dead Space another try after they acknowledged something fundamental about horror; you have to let yourself be scared, let yourself be immersed. You have to surrender the hard shell acquired from gaming and just go in vulnerable and with an open mind.

If people did that same thing here, I'm sure some opinions would be different.

  8. Btw the two head enemy gave me such a hard time in the game I almost just gave up. Until I learned that they can easily be killed. All you need to do is aim for its legs then when it drops to its knees go in with your baton and hit it with light melee attacks (heavy won’t do anything) on the third swing it just destroys one of the heads. Do it again and boom it’s dead.
