  1. So, that first melee weapon arguably seems deadlier/nastier than the baton. Looks like it's got more reach at the very least and impaling and cutting point/edge, but I guess the electricity makes a lot of difference.

  2. I hate watching your videos because it just reminds me of how I SUCK at these games. LOL Seriously though you have the best gameplay videos on Youtube. I always go to your videos when I'm stuck at certain points in the game or just to see how you progressed thru the levels compared to how I did them. Keep up the good work brutha!

  3. Great walkthrough. But if this is a aaa game i thought 6 hours, 6 frickin hours was way too short. I thought the boss fights were bad. They were exactly the same boss repeatedly. Copy paste. I liked the weapon systems. But this was a beautiful let down imo

  4. That suit with helmet that they were advertising about and it being on the cover, you sure don't wear it for long in this game. Let alone with the helmet on. WHY would he ditch the helmet!? He is idiotically handicapping himself. Dani is no better as she got face filled with alien juice much later cause she ditched the helmet too. lol

  5. This game is like chopping wood. It’s very basic, tough and will make all spoilt gamers feel bored. But for those who can appreciate simplicity it will be awarding on every level. And I mean absolutely. Graphically amazing. Atmosphere 100%. Combat unusual, brutal and satisfying. Only the story is very simple and definitely needs a DLC.

  6. One trope I'd like to see go away, because it's been a thing in fiction media for going on 50 years now, is the sarcastic jabbing at megacorporate marketing shtick. We get it; it's all soulless, it's indicative of everything down to the atom being commoditized and put up for sale, it represents the relative degeneration of a human being's worth in a system of profit as singular motivation. But it ALWAYS takes the same form, it ALWAYS sounds the same in delivery, it ALWAYS communicates the same message.
I dunno, just a pet peeve of mine. Nothing against this game, it's just more a cliche that's been roadkilled into the core of the earth at this point.

  7. Two games I want this year, this and Need For Speed Unbound. This really is Dead Space 4, but without Isaac Clark. Hopefully, this will get past the 3rd sequel, since they already have idea's to implement from the Dead Space series, such as weapons crafting.

  8. TCP is basically Dead Space with the rough edges refined out and updated gameplay tech. That's not a bad thing, but I feel like Schofield, who gave us the awesome DS 15 years ago, is basically reliving that ideation and development experience through this game. TCP hits a lot of DS's key traits:
    – Space jockey is just doing another job
    – Space jockey gets caught in a life-or-death struggle against an unknown thing constantly trying to eat him alive
    – His one friend gets got while a female lead character is pissy, double-crossy, and out to get him from the start
    – Space jockey tumbles through scenes into the maws of grinding machines and body-horror monstrosities
    – Many monstrosities mimic DS enemies
    – Space jockey finally says he's too old for this shit.
Again, Schofield really hit a note with DS, and TCP constantly feels like him redoing DS with a couple things re-shuffled. High-quality stuff though, and I like the combination melee plus weapons fire attack. That is definitely something that DS lacked in its combat design.
