The bus comes to the rescue again to get me to Buxton!

I come to the end of my journey along the Buxton line, but does it still have a few surprises for me along the way? I miss a train, get a cancellation and end the day with a Christmassy delight!

  1. Great video Jen. I only discovered your channel in September through GLovesTrains when you did those races with her, and I have to say I have been enjoying your videos. I am thinking about becoming a Patreon in the new year, but I haven't decided yet. I hope you have a happy Xmas🎅 and New Year.

  2. An excellent finale to the Buxton line! Despite Northern doing a Northern. But still it's been awesome to have watch and the snow at the end made it more special! I'm glad you've made the most of 2022 after your surgery and we're looking forward to what you have in store for 2023! Take care and Happy Sprintsmas

  3. I love your videos so much. I'd love to meet you at some point; although I don't do youtube like you do, I am only 7 stations away from visiting all 272 on the Tube, and I've finished the Overground, Croydon Trams, and Elizabeth Line (excepting the Whitechapel to Stratford tunnel…), plus about 660 out of 2570ish mainline stations.
I've been to buxton 4 times I think, although never by train…

  4. I don't think I've seen you as happy in this video as you have in any other. I'm sure it's been a rollercoaster year. Keep up the good work, take care of yourself and have a marvellous Christmas Jen. For all the joy you've brought to myself and others, you truly deserve it. 👍

  5. Brilliant video, just so annoying that Northern did what they like doing best lol 😂
It's fortunate that the slippery pavements didn't send you on the move the wrong way, especially with Buxton being so hilly, otherwise you could have ended up going a long way in the wrong direction

  6. I think I went to Buxton Once (well been three times- once for when Peak Rail were assembling there). I was driving a Ford Transit Van , parked in the car park and reversed into the overhang of a market stall (I was not used to high doors etc at the rears of the normal small cars I drove). no damage other than a bit of pride so off before anyone noticed !

Don't worry yourself Jen, everyone makes mistakes. Great conclusion Jen, of course Northern pulled a Northern 😆 really enjoyed the mini series 😃
