On February 28, 1994, a group of six Serbian J-21 Jastreb attack aircraft led by pilot Ranko Vukmirovic, were on a mission to take out a military factory in Novi Travnik during the Bosnian War. Some 50 miles away a pair of two American F-16Cs piloted by Captain Robert Wright and Captain Scott O’Grady from 526th Fighter Squadron supported the no-fly zone over Bosnia as part of Operation Deny Flight. Although aware of the F-16 presence and possible consequences, Serbian pilots continued their bombing run. The Americans engaged the Jastrebs, leading to the first NATO combat engagement in its history.

The only problem with this is that every company that uses hold music uses it at absolutely shit quality. Imagine listening to this at 32 kbps!
Good video I like it but there’s one problem with it. Might want to do a little bit more research next time because on the F-16s the a nine sidewinder is almost always located on the tips of the wings and the aim 120 Amram is almost always located under the wings I know I’m nitpicking, but I just thought you should know
For those didnt understand.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most effective multirole fighter jets used worldwide, designed for both air superiority and ground attack missions. Its design emphasizes lightness and aerodynamic efficiency. The airframe has a low drag coefficient, ensuring stability even at high speeds. The fly-by-wire system enables electronic balancing of the aircraft rather than manual control, significantly reducing the pilot's workload during high-maneuverability situations. This system also allows the aircraft to have a deliberately unstable structure, enabling quicker and more agile turns compared to traditional aircraft designs.
At maximum speed, the F-16 can reach approximately Mach 2, twice the speed of sound. The aircraft can withstand up to 9G forces, delivering a turn rate of up to 25 degrees per second. This exceptional maneuverability provides pilots with a critical advantage, especially in close-range air combat (dogfights). The wing design is semi-delta shaped, offering low drag at high speeds and high lift at lower speeds. The wings are swept at a 40-degree angle, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency and enabling tighter turn radii. Additionally, the 11 underwing hardpoints allow the aircraft to carry a wide variety of weapons and munitions, making it versatile for different mission types.
The F-16 is powered by either the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-200 or the General Electric F110-GE-129 engines. These engines produce up to 129 kN of thrust with afterburner, allowing the aircraft to maintain performance even during vertical climbs. The vertical climb rate is approximately 254 meters per second, enabling rapid altitude gain in a short time. Advanced radar and avionics systems, such as the AN/APG-68 radar, enable effective detection and tracking of both air and ground targets. This radar system performs long-range scans, simplifying target acquisition and providing early warnings against enemy threats.
In turning maneuvers, the angle of attack (AOA) is crucial. The F-16 is designed to maintain aerodynamic stability even during high-AOA maneuvers. Its maximum AOA is approximately 25 degrees, allowing the aircraft to generate high lift even at low speeds. This feature is particularly beneficial in close-range dogfights, giving the F-16 a distinct advantage over its opponents. The turn radius of the aircraft varies depending on speed and altitude but averages around 370 meters, allowing the pilot to evade enemy missiles or aircraft with tight maneuvers.
Fuel capacity is another critical factor enhancing the F-16’s operational capabilities. The aircraft can carry approximately 3,175 liters of fuel in its internal tanks, with the option to increase this capacity using external fuel tanks. When equipped with external tanks, the F-16 can achieve a range of up to 4,220 km. Additionally, its air-to-air refueling capability allows it to undertake long-range missions without time constraints. The cockpit features a large bubble canopy that provides excellent visibility, improving the pilot's situational awareness. The modern HUD (Heads-Up Display) system projects critical flight information within the pilot’s line of sight, enabling them to stay focused on their mission even under high-speed and high-stress conditions.
Another key aspect of F-16 operations is energy management, which relies on the relationship between speed and altitude. Pilots strategically manage their speed and altitude to preserve the aircraft’s kinetic and potential energy, allowing them to exploit advantages over their opponents during combat. This is particularly crucial during high-speed, high-maneuverability scenarios to prevent energy depletion. The aircraft typically operates at altitudes of up to 15,240 meters, granting it the ability to avoid enemy air defense systems or engage long-range targets effectively.
In conclusion, the F-16 Fighting Falcon is a highly capable fighter jet, excelling in both close-range air combat and long-range missions. Its aerodynamic design, powerful engines, advanced avionics, and versatile weapon systems make it a formidable asset for air forces worldwide. Its maneuverability and resilience have established it as an indispensable choice in modern aerial warfare.
(I triple checked for error my hands are broken fr)
Well done.
Anyone else think the f16 is the most beautiful aircraft ever?
Lo que siempre me pregunto es ¿porque usa siempre tiene que intervenir en todos los conflictos?
My favorite plane of all times, the F16 is a beauty, great video.
American Ferraris !!
What a great vibes of this video!
Man i feel bad for the J-21 pilots as you narrated this, made me shed a tear for them. That's war i guess. always unfair
The American pilots should have disengaged once the Serbs were no longer a threat. This was not an attack on US ground assets and Nato was meant to be a defensive role only. However, as we all saw for the first time and against the UN vote not to attack Serbia. Despite this, the US-led NATO decided to attack the Serbs and bombed Beograd killing many civilians.
THis dogfight should have been illustrated in History's Dogfights TV series.
Operation Deny Flight.
The narrative is pretty good, except the air speed imagery is absurdly faster than it would appear in reality to the pilots
💝💞💗❤️🔥💘💓💖
Yo this is good 👍
"God help theme if we use F1-17"🥶💀
Allez libérer l'Ukraine
Tak terkalahkan KLO DI FILM…aslinya😂😂😂
Watching this is better than Watching star wars 4k
Faster than an X Wing from star wars
Serbs were fool…. didn't they count F16s?
THIS SHOT! 1:47
Well, I'm left with the impression that americans let the six do their mission, actually…
video is untrue serbian downed planes were SOKO G4 NATO name or on serbian super galeb meaning super seagull
Yarnhub, please make a video talking about the rise and fall of the third reich😢
Our American Pilot showing respect to its enemy. Letting him live after escaping a Missle lock. Thats my boys.
I watched mad jack and noticed how much the graphics changed it’s so good I love your videos so keep it up!👍
Vous les Nato, vous faites les malins avec les petits , ha ha ha
Excellent graphics, breakdown and narration. I'd like to see more.
American pilots are amazing, is this a true story? I would love to see more of these videos
There must be a man remain to tell the tale.
Indeed I love Yarnhub videos. Can I make a request? Could we see a video on the Battle of Palmdale? or the Battle of Los Angeles? Thanks
Hi, I love your videos! I think you should do more modern combat videos with planes tanks and ships! An post a lot more times😅
Bleza
I never knew about this. N never knew about this channel
Hello Yarnhub familiars. I wouldn’t usually comment but I love the work. That’s why I came to let you know there is another YouTuber who stole your work two days ago as of writing this. “Cem Yavuz”, he took the 21 Shiks video and dubbed it over with ai, but the video is literally just stolen from you. There is only one other guy who’s seen it. Even if this doesn’t make it to you personally. Maybe it can get through the comments. Anyway. Sorry for the weird comment.
"American Ferraris" no way
Bacchon ko pel ke ser ho gaye….u naye waali J21 aane do, dekhnege
As they screamed through the valley he saw a strange phrase enscribed in the side of the valley. "Share, like, subscribe". He wondered what it meant and who painted it? Was it American psy-ops? Was it an ancient mountain painting? Little did he know it was a message from Youtube in the future of 2005.
And whattafak was doing USA-NATO in Serbia? Defending Washington?
This doesn't look like DCS World… Badass, nonetheless. Thank you. 🙂
