The Witchspring series is a well-received JRPG franchise mostly known on mobile platforms, however, they decided to massively expand the first game and re-create it from the ground up for the PC. The result is an unexpectedly great JRPG with a nice story and some great character moments combined with plenty of combat and crafting. There’s a lot here to enjoy, from the mechanics-heavy combat to the genuinely solid character development, and the whole package is super well-rounded. I’d say it’s an easy recommendation for anyone who likes JRPGs, the price is also just right for the surprising amount of content on offer.
