No, is just that the artwork in that ending is badly made, is implied that in the ending, vanessa dies as vanny because of the falling and the vanessa in the roof is her spirit, she got trapped in the pizzaplex and is watching her dead body
This game man… It's like a drawing made by a 4 years old. It's messy, confusing, and difficult to look at, but you can tell it was made with all the love and the best intensions in the world.
I think the way vanessa works in the security office is a copy of roxy's path when gregory is getting that badge, that would also explain the robotic sounds when she is shot by the fazer blaster
you know that tri hallway was actually really easy to fix, just put a door with occlusion, it makes sense and it stops the area from behind it being rendered. idk why they didn't do that.
I actually do believe (and hope) that the reason why the game was released in the state it was in and why a lot of this was cut was due to the game being temporarily a ps4/5 and pc exclusive. Steel wool knew they needed more time to fix the bugs and glitches the game had and to test it all out, but because they weren't able to push the game back any further, they released game as it is. I think that the game they released was in its alpha version, and that to this day and as I am typing and putting up this comment, they are still working on putting together the actual final game. I think they might release this final version of the game possibly on the day they release the game on the other consoles like the switch and Xbox. They release this newer version of the game as the final release of the game on the other consoles so people can buy it and as a huge update for those who have the game on the ps4/5 and pc. This is all just speculation and theorizing on my part, so I don't know what's gonna happen

Imo, the main game should have been a survival mode with some secrets and stuff.
