Farthest Frontier continues and it seems that the local boars have taken offence to us hunting them for years and so have decided to attack us quite a lot! There many boar attacks, some more serious than others, and some a tad more… fatal…
Excluding the boar onslaught, life in Geekvale is pretty good. We begin work on the new residential area so we can house more people and we even plan it out to the point where we have the roads sorted out, the market in place, wells and even some lovely decoratives!
More industry comes to Geekvale as we build a secondary brickyard to provide many bricks, which seem to be required for many of our upgrades, we get ourselves a basket shop so we can craft some lovely wicker baskets but, perhaps most excitingly of all… we build our preservist building! We can have jam! Oh glorious day!
Also we do some excellent trading, we upgrade one of our food cellars and there is a little bit of a rat problem.

That name is not a good pun. What the English did in South Africa Was really terrible
Really enjoy your content! I didnt realize that I wasn't subscribed. I adjusted that!
🙁
I am curious to see if, where you wanted the market to go, if you cleared a few trees you could flatten a square of land.
if you haven't figured it out already, the rat catchers have areas you can move like the hunters and foragers. And don't forget to upgrade your wells when you can
do yourself a favor and use the 'keep stocked' option next to the transfer items box so that you can have things always in stock to sell. Also looking at the amounts of raw meat you had available you may need another smoke house
The crops rotted in the field because the harvesters were hiding from the raid
So glad you’ve continued this game. I love it!
A game I’d love to see you play long form is Stranded: Alien Dawn. Sort of 3d Rimworld. The little I’ve seen of it seems like it’s perfect for you!

When you first started playing this game, I kind of went: oh, look, another Banished ripoff, there are so many of those, this can't possibly be anything but yet another survival-village-builder…. I am so glad I was wrong. This has been really fun to watch. I might even put it on my own list. 😀
The manure fire, gods. I used to work with horses, burning manure can be… hm. Also glad there's no coal seam underneath, lest your wee village become another Centralia….
🧁🧁 Very good, Mr. Penge. Very good indeed! That was really interesting to watch. So much went on… and those pesky boars are getting very bold. I do like how the towers scare them off, even if they don't manage to hit them every time. And jam…. that sounds so delightful. Lots of bread… and jam to go with it. Now we need a few cows to make some lovely butter and it'll be a complete and wonderful meal. I was a bit worried when you bought all of that wheat that much of it might go to waste, but there seems to still be plenty of bread to go around.
can you build a new medical. place in the new area and now you get more place some new towers are need
Hi Penge. Might be mistaken, but it looks like there might be a clay deposit in the forager area to the North East of the village. Peace All
Thurs gold in them thur hills ye haa
You should put gard towers around the edge of ur Town to kill any wildlife that attacks
Put couple watch tower near your outer field to repel the wildlife and raiders. And also upgrade your fletcher so they can produce crossbows for hunters and guards that more effective than the bows.
Penge please build a wall around the important city center and add more towers and guys with swords and have a great day.
I like to think the rat catchers are seven cats standing on each other’s shoulders wearing an overcoat…
