I remember getting this in a second-hand bookstore in the 90s! Recall quite enjoying it!
Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Mail Time episode. Have you read The Black Wing? Do you like the black dragon Khisanth? Leave a comment below!
Cool! I haven't read this one yet, but I've enjoyed Mary Kirchoff's other work. Particularly her short stories in the anthologies. I always thought Khisanth got a raw deal in the Chronicles, being defeated by a one shot touch of the Blue Crystal staff, it was harder to kill the Wicker Dragon version! 😂
I just read that one earlier this year. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and if I recall correctly it doesn't clash with canon very much either. This one and Under the Mask were the two good books in the Villains series (I haven't read Lord Toede's book yet though)
My first D&D novel ever!!! U will-love it
It has been a while since I read The Black Wing, but I recall liking it. You rarely got entire stories from a dragon's perspective, let alone the "evil" chromatic dragons.
Book did a great job expanding on Khisanth's background. Felt bad that she was killed off so quickly in the main book. Probably my favorite Dragonlance black dragon, besides the mad scientist Onysablet lol.
