You trap your villager so that they don't get in the way when the golden glow appears, you can click it up to 14 times, ( depending on how fast you can click). Your villager can get so close that you click them by mistake and mess your farming up. So click the golden glow when it appears don't just leave it to run out. This way, when you release them, you get all the pumpkins you would have got from your villager through the normal farm but you get the extra ones from the glow and the extra ones thrown out by the villager while the glow in active.
Wow didn't know about fencing them in!!! that is a great idea cause currently mickey (my gardener) keeps getting in the way but I thought he had to be near me for him to toss out those nice extras. Thank you for showing that.
