  1. Knoxx dlc is my favorite of all. Yeah the driving sucks, but honestly it gives me time to talk on voice chat with my friends and not focus on drops for a bit. I'm still trying to get a Serpens and Undertaker in that game and it's like 12, 13 years old? I wanna see a hunt on bl1 for the criminally insane. Lol.

  2. 1:21 Bloody Harvest in BL3 was super disappointing when it came out. The community was not happy.

Agree with the list, although I personally would've put both UVHM packs on the list. Digistruct Peak, the Bekah and the New class mods were huge at the time and still are today. And UVHM itself is a big part of why BL2 is so replayable and had the endgame that it did.

  3. Controversial opinion, but one of the most charming DLC's in my opinion has to be Hammerlock's hunt, simply because the antagonist instead of being this megalomaniac, is just this dude with a hyper-fixation on a bad influence, who immediately understands how outclassed he is when he announces his presence and Hammerlock doesn't even know who he is. He realizes in the span of mere moments how inconsequential he is and immediately recognizes how badly he messed up by making first contact.

  4. I would have made Claptastic be number 2 and had Guns, Love, and Tentacles at number 2. I liked all the little lovecraft refernces, the loot was AWESOME and creative (clairvoyance???) (and that Maliwan flaker I forgot the name of but I absolutely love) and the story was heartfelt and sweet, Jakobโ€™s and Hammerlockโ€™s dialogue felt natural, they have good chemistry.

  5. I love the BL series and must of played it to death even till this day, but…. i have never finished, or even got 30% into the pre-sequel, i own the dlc, all that, but never stuck it, and im not quite sure why, i think its because it feels different, id say it feels like i should be playing gears of war instead of BL, having to take cover every 3 enemies or i die, i dunno. Maybe theres some good tactics people know to get a head start or so, any tips? ๐Ÿ™

  7. The thing about the "Return of the Cartells" i never understood was… who are they?
In the lore of Borderlands, there is never talk of some cartells or secret society, and now they just show up and pretend to be some well known villian.
The "Return" in "Return of the Cartells" implies that we should know them, but they havnt been mentioned anywhere in the universe.
Sure, the loot they brought was pretty cool but much like the bounty of blood, it feels very disconnected from the borderlands universe. Bounty of blood however justified itself by creating a world of its own, with its own lore. It may feel out of place, but at least it made itself a place.
Cartells feels so random and i feel like Joey could have been an antagonist that could have been expanded upon.
They dont represent a season or holiday (at least one i know of), they cant be some joke and if they are, it went way over my head.

  8. I'd say that the Bounty of Blood ought to have been one of the main plot points and Gehenna one of the main planets in Borderlands 3. They did an excellent job on it.

  9. When I first played through Borderlands with a friend, I was bored with the game due to the bland environments, one dimensional villains and almost non-existent story.

My opinion changed when we loaded into the Zombie Island DLC. The humour started to surface, the characters got more zany and their dialogue was delivered with more emotion. Enemies had new mechanics like Wereskags that heal damage and become more ferocious. Locations that were more varied and easily identified. And a mystery to uncover (also love the Scooby Doo Easter egg).

I will always have a soft spot for Zombie Island because it was my real introduction to the enjoyment the Borderlands franchise had to offer.

  10. Even though i'm not a huge fan of Borderlands 3, one of my favourite DLC is Hamerlock's dlc in Borderlands 3. I remember those times when it was the beginning of lockdown and DLC was released. Maybe I look at this DLC through a prism of nostalgia but the reason doesn't matter. For me personally it was something fun that could make those "grey lockdown days" better

  11. Headhunters are seriously underrated. I think the only one I'm not super fond of is the Ravenous Wattlegobbler. I just never get good loot from it, but it is saved by having Mr. Torgue. They're just the right length that you can quickly pop in, get an easy level up, you're almost guaranteed to get something interesting by the end up it, and they're all really well themed. I think when I bought BL2 it was on a Steam summer sale and I got each headhunter for only $1. I've probably spent over 100 hours in each, some are probably closer to 300 hours.

  12. Tbf. I dont think maliwan takedown really needs a loot armory, cause it already kinda had one. Not a treasure room, like you have with the armory, but more wotan himself. You got the bottom half, top half, the brain and four additional legs. And if you wait a bit for wotan to spawn the two kraken bots, you got two more loot pinatas. Overall, a good amount of loot for the effort you invest there.

  13. Claptastic voyage has been my favorite as well, I still think for as much hate as the pre sequel gets it was still such a good game. It had a big lack of end game but I still love it, and hope they revist a lot of concepts as to what that game gave us. Long live the exalibastard!!

  14. Thanks for making this list! You inspired me to pick back up and play through a couple of these that I originally missed in my play through of these games due to the sheer overwhelming amount of content to chose from in bl2.

  15. One thing i missed on the list personally was the guns love and tentacles dlc. It's not the best in any regard, but it was a really good allrounder

And Wainwright and Hammerlock are just the best

  16. I think Moxxy's Heist should make a spot on this list somewhere.
I like it more than the wild west themed DLC of BL3, which I thought was mediocre overall.

Which reminds me, why does Gearbox hate letting us fight DLC lady bosses?
Roze and Scarlet were both hyped up during the DLC, only to be one time (if you could even call them that) fights that you can't farm.

  17. I can't believe you didn't include Torgue's DLC from 2.

Like I'm legitimately shocked. Yeah sure the boss fights were all pretty annoying but I thought it was one of the most enjoyable and hilarious things they'd ever done, and thoroughly enjoyed going through it with a friend.

  19. I really hope that they have something else in the pipeline for content on at least one of the current titles. Assuming we're probably a couple of years out from Borderlands 4. They're really going to need something to hold interest of their fans
