The Battle of Fort Arid

The Battle of Fort Arid is a semi-fictional encounter set in French Algeria in the early years of the 20th Century. French Foreign Legionnaires supported by colonial troops of the Armee D’Afrique fight for survival in a dilapidated fort somewhere in the desert of western Algeria. Surrounded by a large and determined coalition of Berber tribesmen, the French forces have nowhere to run and must fight for survival or die where they stand.

  1. First of all, it looks like it was a fun game. The video is great, by the way.
I liked your house rulesand now am really curious about your pinned house rule. I may try it in a later game. Even made a note of it 😊 so I wouldn't forget.

  2. Inspirational use of the fort and figures here; I have some FFL and Mexican irregulars for separate projects and it recently occurred to me that I should plan some 1863 intervention in Mexico actions using both. Lots of the men there were veterans of Algeria and Italy.

  3. Have really enjoyed this, you have made this period/game very gripping and interesting 👍. I will have to now look at this as a new project for this next year🤔 . Once again keep up the good work and keep rolling them dice.🤓
