"The Amazing Ways the Gospel advances against all odds?" Are you kidding me? The "Church" received the levers of power and the purse strings of a very wealthy empire that made it illegal to be anything BUT a Christian. Then they went off to northern Europe FORCING people to be Christians or else. They coerced monarchs with the promise of mercenaries against their armies IF ONLY they would make it legal ONLY to be Christian in their countries. They sent tithe bills to pagan villages which, when they were unpaid, the GOOD CHRISTIANS rode in and killed the resistors and took women and children back to work in the homes and beds of the clergy. You have bleached every culture that you came in contact with, often removing children from their homes to be re-educated out o their language, history, and heritage. Christianity is responsible for MILLIONS and MILLIONS of deaths, sometimes even your OWN when you made your OWN book illegal to own. Christianity is responsible for the stopping of science, knowledge, and inquiry for 1,000 years of poverty, ignorance, and brutality. Your religion is a CANCER on the face of the earth. So SPARE us that "oh, it's so amazing how the gospel advanced."
Do you know what the goal/job/purpose of the bible is? Do you think the bible is good at it's purpose? There are 2.3 billion Christians in the world which has a total population of 7.7 billion. According to the bible that means way over 5 billion people will burn in hell forever! That's not even counting those that claim to be Christians who miss the mark! Do you believe God is incompetent? The bible is suppose to keep God's loved creation from burning in hell forever! The bible literally does such a poor job…I can't fathom why anyone would believe a God created it. Just something to think about.
