Great armour in the graveyard type area of the academy you missed and rooftop jumping at 2:12:37 can lead you to lots of loot and a much better staff, you want the broken floor tower.
It’s not that the skeletons at the academy and certain other enemies were “tough”, it’s that they were magic resistant. All you were really using was your spells and a MAGIC weapon which means they’ll do less damage
That mine part was so funny, especially with the falling sound effects. When that dude fell from the elevator and died right in front of you made me laugh so hard. I think you didn't noticed it, but you picked up a magic sword from one of the dudes before wolf boss. Also it would be helpful to know, whenever you kill someone, if white light shoots out of their bodies that means they dropped an item. And the coolest magic spell you can find needs 60 int so keep raising it. 😁
I guess you have found a intelligence based sword
you sure you didn't get more golden seeds? feels like you should have more flasks by now
man this was the worst day i've ever had and this series is now my safe space
'The Island has Two Little Legs & A Thingie'.🙊
at the end of all these Elden Ring videos, she looks exhausted. she plays fine this game but i feel like she generally doesn't enjoy too much.
Btw. don't apologize for using Help in Bossfight. No one thinks less of you because of that. We all need some help sometimes and that's okay. It's a part of "git gud" after all. Learning the bosses even with help. Your Build is fine the way it is for the beginning. You just have to not think about doing meele damage so much. You're still very well in your "meele headspace". Yeah Meele can work, but it shouldn't be your main approach in fights 🙂 You handled everything exceptionally well so far. Don't be discouraged, the difficulty likes to jump around depending on where you're exploring. 🙂
Hey Gab! If you find the merchants with the lantern, you can ditch that heavy torch!
the stone head mages remind me of the teacher from little nightmares 2 xD
There is an amazing staff I have been using called the Meteorite Staff. Its in the swamps in Cealid. If you google it im sure you will get better Instructions to where it is ha ha Also the marionette ashes are amazing they do serious damage.
Watching Gab navigate the ledges gets me just as tense as watching her fight bosses. 🤣
Just a friendly little tip: if you have a lantern, you can equip on your belt(like in bloodborne) so you won't have to hold the torch. Hope it helps!
Hi Gab ! Please play Martha is Dead !
Really enjoying this play through Gabs, I watch it everyday! 😜
If you wanna farm some runes, and don't mind cheesing it, check out Julien Solomita's lil 3 minute vid on his method – you have all you need to do it!
You should really get the Rock Sling, and i notice you like to favor magic when you use it, and attacking when you do it, but never both mixed. I feel like some enemies are just meant to be parried and fought up close, but you can always open up the fights with a few ranged things then switch to that awesome flail, enchant with that spell all the time, it triples damage nearly, better than using the magic art of war, which makes that enchantment spell not work on those ones, AND its better than the grease
I never played the other games, this is my first, and I can't parry or block for shit, I wish I could make the character left handed, then I might do sword and shield for the "Link" build.
i am really enjong this series
Hi Gab, Think I’ve found the staff you were looking for. It’s north of Liurnia Highway North if that helps. I think you’ll really like it cause it has a passive effect as well.
It’s bonk Shiba number 2 😀
You can put markers on your map. For instance, you can put a skull (or other image if you prefer) on the spots you complete so you know you've done it.
I'm loving this let's play, it's super chill and your playstyle is sooo relaxing! 10/10
I love the fact that these episodes are 2+ hours, to be honest
I literally finished this one and was like wait what it's over already?
I'm really enjoying watching your play through Elden Ring and has been very helpful with my experience as well finding items and having courage fighting some of the bosses and beating them 😀 also tip! the boss you defeated in your previous videos (the boat one) can show it to one of the npc's in the roundtable and get a red marking on your map 😀 (I hope this is helpful for you!)
The amount of times she leaves an item behind after looking right at it is killing me….
Btw, there are a couple of awesome looking (and I think totally optional) underground areas to find which I think you haven’t yet. One of them is called Siofra River and can be accessed at the Siofra River Well in the Limgrave area, north east of your starting point. There are also (underground) areas like the Nokron, Eternal City and the Deeproot Depths. Have you already been there before?
Also, have you been to the Murkwater Caves in Limgrave yet? There’s an encounter in a cave with a (probably) familiar face to you but beware of killing that encounter. I can also advise you to do all of the NPC quest lines because they can unlock new and entirely optional areas with secret bosses, cool new loot and even entirely secret game endings.
Tip: Any big tree with little trees around it on the map you should visit.
There is a summon that I personally really like because it has good health, good defense, it dodges well, has a melee and ranged attack. It is the "Lhutel the Headless" summon. It's in a cave you have passed earlier as well. It is in the "Tombsward Catacombs". Remember those ruins where you got the DemiHuman Queen's Staff (Demi-human forest ruins)? It's just to the west-by-southwest of those ruins, and east of the Tombsward Ruins that are on the otherside of the tree. I think the base FP needed to cast it was 104.
The ending emote chef's kiss ugh
There is a big area at the end of your video, where you jumped down and opened a closed door. Go there upstairs and jump over the ledge there to the rooftop of the houses. There is a large area to discover on this roof tops.
Also on the castle are some areas you didn't discover yet, including one additional boss. I think you have only about 60% of the castle discovered yet. From the Rampart Tower bonefire go up the stairs by the levator and outside. There you jump down onto the wooden ledge of the building in front of you.
Bleed/statuses goes through the shield gab.
Theres night riders flail if you go to weeping peninsula at night,it droped by night's cavalry
1:47:00 cardi b voice what is that?!
Just in case you want another bell berring, the guy stamping on Godricks head after the fight is still there and if you kill him he drops another ball
Yay the ending emote returns!! 😆🙌👏
I can watch this all day… Cant wait for next episode
Academy crystal cave has an illusory wall before the boss, an enemy is behind it shooting at you if you enter the room next to the illusory wall, contains a 48 int. staff
!!!Tips!!!
1. You can put icons on the map, so that you can remember where you have not done or where the important NPCs/ merchants are, etc.
2. Buy a lantern from a merchant, which doesn't require a weapon slot, unlike the torch.
3. Put one of the flasks in the quick slot (the one with the horse whistle) so less chaos in tossing around items during combat.
Your content is excellent. Keep up the good work and hope these help.
there is a beast repellent torch that keeps dogs/beasts from attacking you if they are in your range. It's found in the isolated merchants shack.
