  1. Cool to see Foundations of Rome win for production. I got to play a test copy with Robert when I was in Florida for a teaching conference in mid January, 2020, right before COVID shut the world down. He had just 3D printed a few of the model changes that morning and brought it into the Cool Stuff Inc store where he found 4 of us to test play while he taught it. There are several cube boxes out now, but that was the first time I had ever seen a game box of that magnitude. Heroscape or Descent 1st Edition were about as big as I’d seen at that point. Great job Arcane Wonders!! ✊♟️🔥

  2. Foundations of Rome winning best production value when it costs $250 for it to be impressive against Endless winter which is an absolute steal at $60 is probably the biggest snub in this award show. Flamecraft winning best art over Wonderlands War being a close second…

  3. Dice Tower always does a great job with coming up with new things. This was a great addition and I hope they continue it. That bit about co-hosts was hilarious. Nice to see the collaborations.

  4. It would be interesting to see a retrospective of how well previous award winners have held up and if, in hindsight, there was a game more deserving of winning in any particular year. For instance, would you still consider Dead of Winter to be the 2014 Game of the Year?

  5. Still trying to get Gateway Games to be called Welcoming Games I see.
Is it working? Seems to be going over about as well as trying to call Ameritrash Amerithrash

  6. That last bit throwing mike out the window…I had an idea for a south park episode when Tom is actually a mobster and that’s why he always wears fancy hats and flashy suits. I picture Zee as a the guy the cuts through all the crap and speaks his mind. Milla as an enforcer/does all the dirty work. Mike is the generic explosives guy. Chris is the accountant. Wendy is the person that gets all the inside information.

I had a whole plot lined out in my head but I’ll stop rambling now.
