I can't ever go by steam reviews some people downvote just to downvote like people do on reddit to join the hate party PUBG is one of the best br's and it's always been at mixed reviews and still has half a million peak players every day
New Frontier! That was the game I started making survival tutorials on but the Devs where criminals charging $50+ for Skins, Weapons, more. Population Zero….wow, I remember struggling though a few of the Alpha tests. UGH.

Seems like a lot of survival games just grind to a halt in development. I guess they are just a beast of a project to manage? Anyhoo thanks for the video. I can't count how many early access games I bought on Steam only to see them stop getting updates. I think Vox and Lamplight are two I was most dissapointed about. But that curbed my interest in buying early access games for sure. The more ambitious the more doubt I have.
I remember Pantropy. I still have it – and I loved the mechs. It's a shame they discontinued it, because it could have been awesome.
Not gonna lie I dont mind Atlas , its not a patch on Ark but its still perfectly playable
I got atlas on Xbox…and dark light…on steam deck….and let's not forget pixel ark on switch all because of Ark and seeing YouTubers playing them all snail games all cash grabs.
I played Atlas and loved it, until they decided to play, "piss off the customer" with their "updates". They started nerfing items like soaring wings (necessary after folks established a mountain base which needed the wings to forking get down) to where they would literally not work above a certain level. So jump to your deaths to get out of your base you losers. Why? Because some "monster" used them once to raid a base and someone baby complained instead of reinforcing their base. Or they wiped the servers so often that it was impossible to hit the end game, literally. Things were constantly breaking and instead of fixing it, they changed how the game was played from farming and building a ship with wood to having to pay for a ship with gold that you could only get by farming with a ship. WTF??? But hey, you say, you can get gold somtimes when fishing (WHAT?) can't have that, let's take that out too. But at least I can custom-make my killer ship. WHAT? Let's take those out too and give you this crappy ship that a dev drew with a crayon from his vast experience of the game he played that one time. They changed the claiming of islands or land around your base with every update from whole island to just a pole radius, which required dozens instead of one, which after an update, all your stuff outside the former ok area was no longer yours. Again, WTF?? I will never, ever play that game again for wasting my time unless by some miracle they manage to finish the game and it not suck. I have never hated a developer more, they took a brilliant game and made it suck so bad I had to make up new bad words to call them.
