Terracotta Warriors

The Terracotta Warriors are a group of almost 8,000 life-sized terracotta figures found at the Mausoleum of the First Chinese Emperor. The figures include both warriors and horses. They were discovered by local farmers in 1974 in Shaanxi, China. Located to the west of Xi’an, the Terracotta Warriors were built by hundreds of thousands of men more 2,000 years ago. The Terracotta Warriors were a copy of Qin Shihuang’s powerful army which conquered and united the Six States.
