We’re still on the defensive – but it’s possible to feel the tide turning slowly on all fronts.

On Earth – Humanity first solidifies its hold over the centres of human power, with the Restored Commonwealth and EU joining into a single union.

In orbit – crews begin work on a new generation of warships intended to overcome the defensive stations and super-capital ships of the Xenos and begin the process of grinding them and their major combatants out of the inner solar system.

And in the Jovian system – tired crews prepare to strike yet another blows against a major grouping of Xenos ships that has consolidated after avoiding interception. Odds be damned, Jupiter belongs to humanity – engage.

  1. Heads up that I'm considering releasing a guide or two tomorrow as they take less time to record and it's release night for the main channel – if there are any hot topics people want me to cover, let me know here.

  2. Just something to consider for the future war strategy but maybe you can priority target alien mines with high base metals and volatiles yields? Because aside from the exotics the biggest need for resources in ship construction seem to be base metals and volatiles at least for your ships so if you can cripple major centers of metal and volatiles production for the aliens perhaps you could put a dent in their shipbuilding capacity

  3. 21:42 Thank you for taking the hit and saving me from wasting my time researching (and building) that farm.
    The UI in this game…
The resource bar at the top of the screen establishes a standard unit of 1,
anything that isn't that unit of 1 should be indicated with a symbol or a decimal point
(without reading 3 paragraphs of text in a pop-up tool-tip, after hovering over the number in an info screen).
i.e. 35:42 When you're are explaining the antimatter spiker, build cost 160u fissiles and 200n antimatter.

  4. @PerunGamingAU Antimatter farming isn't good at Jupiter, but at Saturn there's 2 asteroids with 440 antimatter and 2 or 3 Asteroids with 220 antimatter as well, but the true king is Mimas with 880 Antimatter, which makes it very good place to farm! Not as much production as supercolliders, but not as expensive in the long term either.

  5. Thinking about it, the endgame of humanity first might be to destroy the alien homeworld. But how? The reason humanity survived is because the aliens wanted us alive, to be enslaved. We do not share the same sentiment to them. Here, I propose we find a way to send a probe into the wormhole, and send anti-matter missiles all troughout their homeworlds. They might not be prepared for this for all we know, and we could deal a serious dent on them before they close the gate.

  6. “The Jovian campaign was not at an end, we had no illusions as to that, but it had entered a pause, thanks to the massive new fleets command was smacking the hydra with we were able to get a much needed break to repair, retrain and get some rnr before all hell broke loose again.

I spent that time looking over the new ships command had commissioned, my god they were magnificent, made the old Hydra look like a child’s toy, tech I couldn’t even begin to comprehend and weapons I never wanted to be on the receiving end of. This was humanities glory made manifest, the hydra were not facing a scared or backwards planet of apes now. Now they were fighting us and they were loosing, their ships burned in the void and our home stood strong the blue-green jewel of our new empire.

We received news a little while later that more fleets were inbound. We were buoyed by our recent successes and by those of our allies. I never saw the crew so prepared and so ready to fight as I did those days, we were glorious” Interview with Rear Admiral Druganov, 2050
