Mikey is stated to be the most skilled in general and used nunchucks because they were the most difficult to master as a ronin he mastered all the turtles weapons and the only thing holding him back was how chill he was

mikey was given the nunchuks to help him focus his mind when in battle. the fact he could use them perfectly while still cracking jokes say how skilled he really is. in last ronin he uses all the weapons equally well.

lots of people talks about all the turtles but the least talked about is donettello. he's art and computer and mechanically inclined. I always wanted him to be more active and he just fades into the background

Mike as the last survivor is bitter sweet. I have not read the comic about that specific arc, but I imagine his funny low brow personality took a serious hit after the deaths of his brothers / father and must have been more stoic and reserved later in life the way Raphael was naturally. This could be an amazing cinematic trilogy if they maintained the aesthetics of the 1990 masterpiece.
