I think it might be valuable to consider that maybe the Gorosei aren't physical threats. Like, if I got in a fight with like Joe Biden or Dick Cheney, I'd probably win pretty quickly. But it would be an extremely dangerous thing for me to do, because then the fucking CIA or whatever would be on my ass in a matter of minutes. The Gorosei might not be dangerous because of their combat prowess, but, like real world leaders, because they sit on top of armeis and vast systems of worldwide oppression. I get that One Piece is a Shonen at the end of the day, and that's a medium that encourages whether or not someone punch good as the only meaningful metric of how dangerous or powerful they are, but please for a moment consider that that may not be what Oda is going for in this case.
you mentioned how the strawhats need to parallel the blackbeard pirates and needs a heavy hitter to match kuzan. literally the only person who could join the strawhats at this time and go against an admiral would be yamato honestly. She already went against an admiral, has all forms of haki and literally would be the best matchup to kuzan. Ice vs ice

Luffy pummling Saturn and Sanji the man blocking Kizaru's laser beam. Luffy and Sanjifans are eating very good this week. I also wanna add that this is the first time we've seen Kizaru without his troll face. And it was my man Sanji who wiped the troll out of his face. If people are still in denial about the Admirals/Strawhats matchups then I don't know anymore. Though I don't think Sanji will 1 vs 1 Kizaru just yet. Seems more like Luffy and Sanji will tag Saturn and Kizaru. But with what Sanji has shown so far, I'm already satisfied if he just continues getting some good feats against Kizaru. I'd also like to add that Franky's shocked face was very interesting. I guess the Strawhats are not aware of Saji's genetic enhancement yet.
I would also like to write a comment to the Zoro fandom here. This arc certainly must feel very bad for the Zorofans especially since Sanji is getting so many nice showing currently. But if that feels bad then now you know how Sanjifans have felt all the time since Punk Hazard. And yet the Zoro fandom took it upon them to fuel oil into the fire. Now you get your retribution. It's almost like Oda is doing this on purpose to punish Zorofans for a decade of unnecessary and infantile toxicity. But we are on the same picture now. You got your fair share of ridicule and now understand how the Sanjifans felt. Now would be the appropirate time to refelct on your behavior and stop the unnecessary toxicity and bashing of other characters. If you haven't learned anything from this then I think there is no hope left for the Zoro fandom anymore. Just wanna remind everyone that this if the final saga. Just enjoy it, even the moments of Sanji/Zoro even if you are not their fan and stop with the pointless power scaling. You will regret it once this show is over and you realize that instead of enjoying it to the fullest, you were too busy bashing other fandoms and spreading toxicity.
