In my mind no she never did say I apologize and repack for said pay me or the audience won't pay you. I don't blame Taraji pay her what she is worth. Love Taraji❤
It’s about to open overseas next week! The movie will do great! Watch! Only in America a black movie can generate this much negativity! The only black movie in the US that failed that was worth 100 million dollar
Ohh stop the BS about Fantasia everyone don't want to be just hanging out with them folk's?Eating n drinking, she just didn't want to because of a lot of thing's?Like she said she's a New Southern Girl and heard knows what goes down with eating, drinking at those so called functions? You bring your own food n drink's smoke's if ya got em?Yo azz end up somewhere you don't remember Jack??
I think saying, “Taraji should have waited” is apart of the issue. Black women never have the “right time” to share and speak up on what they’re dealing with. Taraji was sitting in those interviews hurting! There was no other time than the time that it happened.
Previously , Fantasia stated how after performing she looks forward to spending time with her husband and children. People may have to learn to respect and except that. Maybe Taraji can't get over the fact that she's not a big deal in this senerio. Fantasia knows what her grown classy self wanna do. I happen to appreciate both of them for their talent.
No one ask for the color purple reboot and blaming the actress for speaking up about pay is not the reason the movie is flopping. Stop rebooting movies that no asked for is the issue here and Hollywood is lazy because they keep remaking movies.
In my opinion Taraji has waaaaay bigger issues than pay. Taraji whined about the pay, got many in the Black community mobilized behind her and now wants us to focus on the movie? How foolish and selfis of Taraji. Taraji seems miserable and Fantasia did the right thing by going home to her imaginary dog and family.
I think Fantasia took the high & grateful road & I respect her for that. Tasia was not here for the impending drama. Which here we go. Things don’t always have to be said. The work needs to just be done… Ijs. As much as I love Taraji’s work and public persona I have consistently experienced weird ish I should have shied away from when working with a mostly black or just female environment. So kudos to Fantasia for staying away because we all know it would be her they’d be tiring down or calling a diva if she hadden presented a class act… Ijs so Love Taraji but no….
Some people are not internal with emotions. When they go against their nature it causes a burst and that's what happen to Taraji. She held what she felt in so long that the gate opened and flooded. She's really good at the craft she's chosen in life and knew her worth. She was insulted, felt degraded and beaten. At least she waited until everyone was paid (like Fantasia) only excluding the powerful like Oprah, who was part of the problem. How can one not offer at least a cafeteria at a work site. I've seen builders hand out McDonald's bags to construction workers! Come on now!
Or because it’s bcs two were nominated and she was not

She is the problem
Ghetto
Fantasia would be stupid to jump on the self sabotaging train that this ghetto chick is on… Taraji should not have taken the role.
Well it's out there to late now

It didn’t spark my interest because of the musical theme anyways but I hope it does well wherever else it’s opening

Receipt!! Show receipts. You're a plant.
I love how people keep reminding Taraji to schedule her breakdowns. Like, “girl, pencil it in for April/May, don’t break down now.”

I loved the movie. All actors and actresses were great. Also, the truth is the truth, her truth is her time to speak so.
I didn't want to see a remake of what was already perfection and I didn't want to see a musical.

Baby girl gas has nothing to do with the failure at the box office. The movie was a flop.
Tashia probably knew TPH may have been problematic
