  1. Hi all, my Night Lord's 8th company was all painted since the start of the tale of four gamers, I'm really glad you guys like them! Kurze, another dread and some seekers are the next on the painting table for me.

Middle Earth SBG armies could be amazing for a tale of four gamers, but I'm sure no matter what you choose Ill love watching and try to join in!

  2. I only have a passing interest in HH but its been great to see all the progress from you guys as well as the community. Inspiring stuff from everyone!

Still think you guys should do Mordheim (or even Newmunda I guess) but Warcry sounds like a fun mini project.

  3. Again, thank you so much for this series! Great fun to paint alongside you all and see what everyone has been up to these past six months. I know for sure the series has kept my inner hobby butterfly in check! Really looking forward to see what's next!

  4. Really enjoyed this series. I've been plodding away at my Blood Angels, although I have cheated by using Rhinos, a Predator, a Castra Ferrum Dreadnought and some Terminators from an existing army, that countered the fact that I paint Space Marines really slowly, and so I've only managed only about 30 more models and a Leviathan since.

Looking forwards to the next one.

  5. Loved this series, thank you. Still fairly new to Heresy, nearly finished my 1000pts Iron Warriors, and this series has kept my interest and hype going. Also great seeing everyone's submitted forces. Hope we come back to this at some point in the future.

  6. Watching this series has stirred my interest in giving Horus Heresy a go, even if it is cheating to use the OLD 1991 Metal Deathwing Terminators as Dark Angel Loyalist (Or ARE THEY *wink wink*) Cataphractii Terminators with the Deathwing Hexagrammaton.

  7. Thoroughly enjoyed this whole series as someone who has recently started a Heresy army.

I found the whole Assault Ram discussion hilarious. I’m with you Gary… Rules As Intended is the best way to play 30k, as the written rules are often janky and incomplete. So if you did that move against me, I would honour it as a narratively astute move, and a hilarious piece of generalship!

Also agree about Reactions… I think they’re an amazing mechanic, but shooting and overwatch reactions need to be at -1BS at very least.

  8. Really, really enjoyed watching this series. Built my iron warriors force along with it (after a 10 year break) if there's ever more submissions needed I'll sign up to Patreon and send them in.

  9. I only just got started on my heresy XD but seeing y'all stick it through, even though I didn't catch every episode, really inspired me. Keen to watch the finale, and see what actually got achieved! Thanks!

  10. 10% agree on Gary with reactions. It puts me off so many games and sadly stopped me from collecting anymore Warcry once they were introduced. I much prefer something like alternate activation that basically gives you that chance to react in built to the turn sequence.

  11. Ian's comment about playing against potential assholes and just bringing something stupid for a laugh is exactly why I want to do an Emperor's Children, "oops, all Kakophoni" 3rd Co. Elite army. Because it's memey. Sure, my guys might all "gets hot" kill themselves, but it'll be fun, and IMO that's what these games are all about.
