Your skills are seriously impressive, I did two zones before Liurnia and that blood guy still beat my ass, and here you are clobbering him on like your second try.
Good old death bird.
One day Keith will find the map fragments or the lady that gives the summoning bell and it'll be glorious o/
I have caught The Covid, so this series is keeping me sane right now while my throat feels like I've swallowed glass. That Death Bird fight was hilarious.
i like the idea of going for Faith build, any 'magic' based tbh. Spells are cool so if we can work with them more im all for it.
Let's hope it will work out! 10 more stats.
Hmm, if this let's play continues for a loooong time, it would be interesting to respect from time to time and try something fundamentally different. Faith > Magic > Dex > Strenght > Staus Effects and the like.
hi Keith, idk if u read the comments but if u interested in find wt's going on betwen the ruins try to cross that bridge at night. have a great day =)
When I fought Ser Sanguinus of the Sanguinine Church of…blood, I just walloped him with a hammer till he stopped moving. Strength builds for life.
Those poor messages in the catacombs, they helped Keith and he didn't even give them a "Good" lol.
NICE job on that erdtree avatar
3:02 – oh, you mean Horizon Zero Dawn? π God, I hated that system.
Repeat after me ^^
psychic
physick
(Don't take seriously pls ;))
That poor Limgrave map just sat there going 'OMG he's finally going see me when he riii….iides off fucking road, again!'
Never change, man, this bumbling, rambling playthrough is brilliant!
Ah, so that's the place I've heard of with the many illusory walls.
Love watching people play these Souls and souls-like games.
Also, I'm pretty sure you may already have the ability to use the summons…. maybe go back to the start and see if you missed a conversation or something???
I have a feeling eventually we're going to get a montage episode of just cleaning up things that aren't too in-depth, or at least a short 'so I did some stuff' summary. Which I'm looking forward to – so far the entire playthrough has been entertaining, but there's just so much stuff that there'd be a LOT of dead air for a few "checklist" items in the open world.
The random and wide exploration though, and the genuine reactions to some things, are just neat. Very 'kid let loose in a large park' feel, with all the endearment that implies.
56:06 "why don't they hurt each other?" As they hurt each other lmao
20:55 physick, not psychic. π
I really enjoy Keith's style with games like this most of the time, but seeing him, after all this time, come back to the gatefront ruins and then just circumnavigate them instead of going in and exploring was like a knife through the heart lol
Hopefully he'll get there eventually and hasn't mentally ticked them off as something he's already explored.
3:00 Kingdom Hearts 3 on Critical Mode. So KHs has always started you back at the entrance to the room when you die, but KH3 doesn't really have rooms so you could easily lose hours of wandering around after a cheap death. Or Horizon Zero dawn on harder difficulties since you could only save at bonfires. Good game design is sometimes elusive/not ubiquitous even in good games, clearly they never considered it since the primary audience of both games aren't looking for a hardcore experience (despite KH2 critical mode being a masterpiece of difficulty).
That imp fight near the chest in that one catacomb is proof that the Imp Ashes you can get for keepsake item is op. You summon 2 of those dudes and they just bombard the enemies.
That building with the statue has a broken wall around it you can climb to get to the roof
Did he really not meet Margit yet?
31:54 – 34:00 I think the snake snail fight is also worth a #Highlight (especially for that "instant karma" moment)
Hint for summons. Search through the starting area (Limgrave), at night, for a person to talk to!
I'm sorry I'm stupid, but why does he not use all of the "ashes" he's getting? Is it because he doesn't have enough faith, or is faith only useful for that cool sword he wants to use?
The trolls/giants are pretty standard for FromSoftware enemies, but they make me feel bad for them all the same.
At least the human undead had clothes; these guys are nude, disembowelled and look so raw and unkempt.
Then again, if they're going to hang with emo Hitler griffin, they can all go to hell.
Love the snail. Deathbird hits the right side of creepily unsettling.
The Erdtree Avatar clearly has the Asylum Demon's rig and animations. I guess From do have a history of recycling assets a lot, but it's still an interesting find some ten years later (yikes, DS1 is old now).
I think the crafting materials respawning is just there to encourage players to use consumables more. If they are easily replenishable, they actually become a viable tool even for the stingiest of players instead of something that just clutters an already awkward-ass invetory and the quick bar.
I dunno if anyone commented before, but you can quickly check if you are in Stake of Marikas 'area of effect' by looking at the status icons, there should be one that looks like Marika. Very quick and useful when you wanna tackle a boss you just come across.
32:45 "YOUR SNAIL IS EASY TO KILL!"
