  1. Song is basically about going insane and hearing voices in your head, not much else to interpret. I think one of the more interesting lyrics is “If the war inside my head will take a day off I’ll be dead.”

“Wake Up Dead” should be your next Megadeth song. Absolutely awesome music with dark but kinda humourous lyrics. Cheers!

  2. Megadeth , love love love love it ,,,,, Not my favorite song , but let me say this , I went to a Megadeth concert one time in San Francisco Ca , & mid way through a rowdy arse concert , Sweeting bullets was played & to my surprise, the whole place broke out in Hello ME , Meet the Real ME & My Mis Fits way of life , like a bunch of Psychotrons , I was looking around like what the hell is going on here& my friend who I went to the show with laughed at me & said What , You Didn’t Know , as if this Pysconess had simply gone over my head , I was like alrighty then , we’re all psychos at Megadeth aren’t we & back into the pit I went , I highly recommend this behavior to All ,It’s Therapy ,,, It was the time of my life & the best Concert I’ve witnessed, That & my first time at Judas Priest!

  3. I actually prefer the slightly more mainstream Megadeth; Youthanasia is my favorite album from them. I always liked "Family Tree" from that album, although the lyrics are quite dark.

  4. When you read comments and listen to it again, you’re gonna see this whole thing different. Pretty crafty idea to take on Schizophrenia and the music video is worth a view.

  5. For next listen to "Marko Hietala – Stones (Official Music Viedeo) (From Nightwish, but it his own song)
    Heres the text:

An old crone with a face of bone

A heart of stone within a circle of stones

She told me I’d have stones in my shoes

With stones in my mouth I kept singing the blues

    My suit was torn

In the emptiness of outer space

I float forever between a rock and a hard place

    Stones!

    Falling from the sky

More stones! Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones!

    Falling from the sky

    More stones!

    Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones

I never feel the call of stones’ clack

Am I the butt of their constant crack?

The marble shines and the sheet won’t fade

    A man can’t outlast whatever he’s made!

    The righteous will gather

The first soul is soon to fly

    Against the old war stone

The best of men will die

    Stones!

Falling from the sky More stones!

    Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones!

    Falling from the sky

    More stones!

    Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones! Yeah!

Pyramids were made, now bury your dead

    The stones very easily read

    It’ll be just you!

    Your treasures and wife

The stones kept on sealing all of your lives

    My suit was torn

In the emptiness of outer space

I float forever between a rock and a hard place

    Stones!

Falling from the sky More stones!

    Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones!

    Falling from the sky

    More stones!

    Growing from the ground

    Stones!

    Traveling the stars

    More stones!

    Boring, thankless, lifeless

    Stones!

    Crushing wind, indifference

    Our bones under the stones

    Voyeurs of misfortune

    Our bones under the stones

    Our bones under the stones

  6. 2:40 good drummer 6:00 uhmm u see the vertical window in the cell ? those were put in to allow the sun to create a moving mix of shine and shadows. the dimwitted it would drive mad , but the learned , if they new astrology and their charts , well then it could occupy them. the King would find the smartest of captives and offer him a position in his crusade , many times beneficial to both. i mean the guys killing people and getting laid , so. the first novel i read "The Sun Is My Undoing" by Marguarite Steen derives it's title from a cross cut in the door of a windowless cell of a sea captain which created a moving cross that starts an amazing . . . i'm i'm sorry , i was talking to myself. "you should apologize to Ethan too" (deep voice) Leave me Alo-o-o-ne ps. there was no plumbing in them days 9:04 this song was a filler to complete the album , they recorded Mustaine talking in his sleep , original title was "Dave's Not Here"

  7. I actually enjoy this song, it’s in my top 5 Megadeth songs. I recommend watching the video and that would make a little more sense to the lyrics. I never miss a F & S Megadeth reaction video 😁

  8. Since I went thrifting yesterday for big band music, this is a good time to again suggest a 2-for-1 reaction to Green Earring – first the Steely Dan version then the version by the Woody Herman Band/Orchestra.

  9. A good song, but not their best IMO. As many have said in the comments, it's a grower. From that album, I always liked High Speed Dirt. My favourite album from them has always been So Far So Good So what…not a common pick for Megadeth fans it seems. Cheers!
