  1. I don't know man season 43 is aging like fine wine. It just keeps getting better and better as time progresses comparing it across all of the new era between everyone playing extremely hard and the unpredictability of the ending. We will never see anything like that again.

  2. That tribak was exciting and stressful at the same time. I was very happy Kaleb's sitd worked but was nervous Emily might go. It's so funny that the first thing we see of Austin strategizing with his group this episode was him saying J. Maya took his sandwich.

  3. I'd agree that it was the best Tribal I've seen of the modern era, but I felt the rest of the episode was decent, average, B- maybe, but nothing special. Hey, I grew up and currently live about 15 miles from where Kaleb is from up here in Canada, so I am definitely rooting for him.

  4. I sincerely believe production put full 6/6 odds for “safe” to keep Kaleb. I think they are manufacturing what players they want us to root for. It all makes sense:

-> pregame production makes LuLu the weakest physically AND mentally
-> Sad music when Lulu loses challenges
-> After 3 tribals, audience is rooting for either Emily or Kaleb bc of the underdog storylines.
-> Production knew Kaleb would be voted out so to ensure more views and excitement, give him full odds in his shot in the dark.

I’m not trying to be a hater on the season. But seriously, does nobody else feel like they’re trying to force us to like Kaleb and Emily and want us so badly to root for them? I don’t put it past Jeff who likes to be in control of everything. They don’t trust the players to make good TV!!!

  5. Listened to this in two parts and wanted to add –

Such good insight about Bruce meaning Kaleb isn’t talking to him when he said no one is talking to him. Katurah and Emily both talked to him and Jake was happy to talk to him. Bruce is hyper fixated on Kaleb. It would be interesting if Katurah and Kaleb could try to get together to get him out – it worries me though that Bruce has an idol so we’ll probably see one of the best castaways of the season get idoled out 🫠

Also I honestly had picked the red team because I thought Kaleb was the most athletic of all of them and thought he’d carry them to victory more than Austin, since Jake is no slouch in the challenges and really all the women have been working hard. I didn’t think Drew / Basile seemed very athletic so he seemed like a red flag on blue and Emily is super athletic too so I thought red had it in the bag.

Also, good on Adam for making that into a business helping people get on survivor especially if he helped Kaleb. Kaleb is one of my favorite narrators in a long time, it’s giving Penner.
