What do people think of America being founded by freemasons like Franklin and masonic symbols all over the dollar bill?
My biggest takeaway from the Gulag Archipelago is this question about silence. He puts the idea forward in the opening chapter 'Arrest' and he doesn't take his foot off the gas for three volumes. He says that all Soviet citizens are to blame for the atrocities of the Soviet Union because they refused to speak out against untruth and evil, for bleating, "why me?" upon arrest rather than crying in the street, "they're taking me! They're taking me!"
