I knew that my Sage wasn’t going to cut it in this fight, I tried but I just didn’t have the time to focus on charge casting and spent most of the time on the defensive. I tried to play as Tyrant but found that I just couldn’t get enough damage out, so I decided to finally (Yes after 60+ hours) practice some parrying.
I went with Knight so I could get some free damage from Blessed Shield and added some affinity from Liberator to increase my Parry timing.
It took quite a while to get the moves down but after going through the whole game with mostly Tyrant/Sage, it felt nice to do such a difficult fight by focusing on technique. Even if that meant lots of Sentinel and Provoke to survive any mishaps, buy that’s just called strategy, right?
