Well, as long as it’s playable and not constant struggle it’s good. I really think ranters about the nerfs are being exaggerated and over reactive about it. Imagine if the game comes out in that state already during the first beta, would they still rant? Well I bet they would, coz that’s how this time is now. Sure there are pro’s and cons about this culture too. But back in the days before internet, we just used to buy a game and play it.. If it’s not fun, we don’t play it, shove it in the corner and play a different game. If it’s hard but still fun, then we get ourselves around it and figure out how to beat it. Druid simps have been in existence since D2, "Druid is really strong, you just don't know how he works" I have a fully decked out Druid in D2, the best possible build, with the best possible gear, i played Hell fully at players 8 solo with the dude, his damage potential however was lower than a simple low geared Immortal King Barb, Druid just sucks balls, pure copium.
Lol I think its funny they just insult him. But druid is not weak. especially now that they buffed animal companions. If you got aspect of the alpha and ring of the stampede. You could literally one shot elite packs just by pressing the wolf active button. Once I had those 2 legendries I was able to kill den mother in like 18 seconds. I do however think, that druid has some bad skills like earth spike and wind shear. I also think lightning strike isn't that great and neither is tornado. But is it the weakest class in the game I really don't think so especially now that sorcerer got giga nerfed on the hydras and chain lightning got nerfed. I honestly think most classes in the game are pretty balanced right now its more about your ability to make a build then anything else. And keep in mind, we haven't seen the whole game yet and the druid boons absolutely change the class. If i actually had access to the packleader boon my crits would have the chance at resetting animal companion cooldowns. Druid also has some crazy uniques that make for some very interesting build paths. Don't count them out just yet. And if you don't believe my den mother kill I have a short on my channel of me blowing it up on the open beta. It just takes 2 legendaries. and with companions being buffed it really only needs the aspect of the alpha now. Before you needed ring of the stampede because it increased companion damage by 300% but they nerfed the legendary and put most of the power in to the base skill.
The harder diablo 4 is, the more i will enjoy it, but hey…thats just me. On the other hand, if it becomes just spam 1 spell and kill everything within 50 yard radios, i will slowly start to detest it and move away from the game. Anyway I dont see much flaws in w/e asmon has said, i played necro first beta, and after seeing videos of necro within server slam, yeah they nerfed em way too much. Also game alone gives you choice from the get-go, wt1, wt2.
I would say this is abnormal for reddit, but they love to punish people for having different opinions. Reddit tried to go after Grapplr for daring to have the opinion that Legends of Runeterra needs to monetize their game more… I wonder sometimes about what kind of brain rot leads to Blizzard stans… I consider myself blessed for not contracting that plague.
"druid is the worst class" is like saying elden ring is a short game when you are stuck at godrick. same as the barbarian the class will be better in late game because its a late game class. yes, it does suck at lower levels and other classes can absolutely destroy more efficiently but thats not the game. you are not supposed to beat the shit out of a boss in 0.00001 seconds while he is off screen. your argument is basically invalid since you dont know anything about the druid or items in late game. the user who created the thread is a bit dumb tho. druids can wreck with a specific build that you need to follow up to lvl 20 which doesnt fall in the category of "play your build" and "build around your playstyle". i dare you wouldnt even try to max a druid class and make it viable unless you see an OP build from someone else.

Anyone who actually makes a logical and common sense post is usually downvoted and attacked. It's just the way it is. I tried to figure reddit out for years but after seeing some really good people on that platform harassed and attacked like crazy and their posts constantly removed. For example there was this amazing artist from NY who would draw peoples portraits without them knowing and give it to them in real life. It was incredibly wholesome and awesome, and he was incredibly talented as speed drawling. People on reddit didn't understand it so they accused him of being fake. The thing is he was interviewed and talked about on many news stations and was well known in NYC for what he does, he didn't fake anything, he was also a really cool and nice guy. I've seen people post his stuff on reddit at least a dozen different times where all you had was people commenting the videos are fake and each one of them got reported and taken down by moderators. I even said some stuff on posts proving the claims people making false, they where making absurd claims about stuff they didn't understand like conspiracy theorists do, and you know what happened? I got banned. Not the people who are making false claims and spreading misinformation and attacks and hatred towards a guy that didn't do anything wrong and only wanted to make people feel special, no they instead ban any posts of his videos as fake and ban anyone who defends the guy. That was the last straw for me. Reddit is worst then 4 chan at this point. And it makes me sad to see people still using that platform from time to time. We need to not use it and let it die so someone else can create a better platform that encourages positivity and doesn't reward hate and toxicity.
Asmon is right. Devs should really be concerned about balance. Every path/build a character has should be equally viable and fun to play. Making it diverse in styles and gameplay will result to a better game. It is really not fun when everybody builds the same thing coz it's broken/OP when there is clearly a lot of ways to customize your characters.
I don't think there's about the druid that can "wreck". The one semi decent build I've seen involved farming Terramotes for a guaranteed crit. Jazzhands Exactly what I imagine for a 'strong' build. 30 mins of foreplay before the class gets good? Have you seen rogues? Not even in the same galaxy in terms of strength.
