The Elgin Hour (sponsored by Elgin National Watch Company) was a 60-minute live American anthology TV show that aired from October 5, 1954 to June 14, 1955, for a total of 19 episodes.
TRIVIA: Although Karloff”s character is named Mr. Mycroft, Sherlockians have recognized a retired Holmes (bee culture, investigating methods, pipe smoking). The episode is based on H. F. Heard’s novel “A Taste for Honey.”
