  2. the new tech in this dlc/update in terms of dig sites and archeotech giving us new modules for ships and new weps or wep tiers and cloaking and allowing science ships to help w detection

yeah this update really is gunna have some fun shifts in the meta i think early and late game

cant wait to see some bigger tournaments where people go nuts w it and the new origins given the fear of the dark one can let you become a fanatic purifier and still have 3 other civics so that is a completely crazy origin if you can get through it fast enough

  3. Hey Tachyon! First off, been watching your vids. Really gave me food for thought about my own ship designs, & have altered them accordingly as per your advice. So major thanks there! Really hoping to try out Strike craft Cruisers in multiplayer tournament play if I ever get the new computer running! Lol. Anyway; to answer your musings at 19:01 however, I watched montu talking about the subjects you discuss. Specifically; him going over recent Dev diaries, & can confirm that Battleship / Titan cloaking is actually a fallen empire dark matter Tech. It also does indeed have a Psionic variant, & is in fact impossible for the aforementioned classes without this salvaged research. Additionally, to add another point. Enigmatic Engineering also gets a change; adding +2 to the strength of this new ability. Finishing the espionage tradition can also add a further +1 too. Hope these little clarifications help make things more certain for you or anyone else reading this. Have a nice day.
