If you give your companion contraband, will it trigger authorities when you're scanned? Or does it only matter if it's in your cargo hold or inventories..

Dont forget, you can trade inventory with your ship up to 250km away. So you can do it while in most towns amd such. Buying huge amounts of materials then tranfering to your ship is always nice
When you tell followers to wait or when the game forces them too if they arent allowed somewhere with you. You get a side quest that uou can find in the activities tab called collect waiting follower or something like that. It will add a quest marker to your follower if you make it active.

I cant wait for the one your gonna do about the ship building … Had similar in Dyson Sphere Project with Research to improve cargo ships, but this is far more immersive than that, making it YOUR ship. And thats coming from a mid 50yo female lol! Im so looking forward to this adventure! That ship builder attendants attitude 7:36 , like "what do you want" is priceless, how most feel at work, just here for the pay lol! Glad to see the romance shite is now an option and isnt forced narratives on you like previous games. Sara 17:53, what a prude! lol Im gonna do a similar play through focusing on piloting and space exploration and Im going to explore every single nook, take everything, talk to everyone and take it slow. there is also a storage container in the lodge's basement with unlimited space which is great for putting crafting materials in so you don't have to run around too much

Your priority categorization "white weapons" is wrong. The weapons are normal just the name Beowulf or AA-99 a better version of that would be CALIBRATED <name>, the best DPS being offered by ADVANCED <name> this are straight up better weapons in terms of all the stats including DPS. Things can go from like 7dmg for normal to 24 for advanced. The beautiful colors are just to tell you how many mods you can add on that weapon so ideally you should have a legendary advanced <name> but when you make a comparison between the 2 I guarantee you that a legendary orange weapon with only just the name (even if one of the mods is armor piercing mag – which is the most DPS that you can get) will be out DPSed by a "white" Advanced version of the same weapon. Example an Orange AA-99 can do 40dmg/shot, if you put armor piercing mag on it will do 48, an Advanced AA-99 will do 74 and 82 with apr… in this case a white weapon will do almost double the DPS straight up, it won't have so many slots to put mods on but you are way better off with the dps increase than the Orange stuff.
