Starfield continues, as we turn our attention to Sarah’s tragic backstory, which is simultaneously much more complicated & hilarious than I was expecting…

Given they have no idea how the terrormorphs breed and spread why would they let a ship land and not quarantine it after.
Sarahs quest completely shattered my immersion and any respect I had for the writing in Starfield. The audacity of the writers to let the Admiral say "How should we have known?" is baffling. Well, they could and would have known, if they actually searched for survivors, which any realistic military command would have done. Jon already pointed out how ludicrous it was of Sarah not to bother looking for survivors for 20 years, but then to go and have her put the blame on the admiral?! This must be satire… and to top it all off have random lived in structures spawn a couple hundred meters away from the crash sites…
What state of mind must someone be in to write something like that?
Sarah is such a simp.
19:00
no, at some point I would like bethesda games to change.
It's too bad that Jon didn't notice that he didn't get scanned when he entered the Wolf system, it's the perfect place to sell contraband if you don't have shielded storage on your ship.
Jon notices that The Den dosen't require a scan! +1 Perception!!!
Jon notices the above while floating past a rapidly spinning stolen art case, begging to be picked up. -1 Perception.
> "Did we turn the gravity off?"
Pro tip: Gravity Drives have something to do with gravity.
We have Silverfish too here in the US
Hopefully John eventually realizes he can get shielded cargo at the Den, too.
44:34 "it's possible" the man who is literally named Vae Victus is a war criminal 😂😂
I love how Jon fails to perceive how much he cocked up and shot a Freestar ship to death
Wait so Sarah was stuck on that planet for a YEAR with internal injuries and broken ribs?? How the fuck did she not just die? Or how did none of that heal before they rescued her?
Don't right off the Wolf Den, keep in mind they did not scan you for contraband when you landed and the Trade Authority shop (that you did not visit) has 11,000 credits with a chair right next to it that you can wait for 2 days.
I posted that before I finished the episode, I should not have doubted you. Jon never change, your brilliant.
This quest shows the issues with randomly generated stuff. Things get put where it shouldn't. Early on in my exploring I got a rainstorm on Mars due to a random encounter quest, as another example. They need to rework the system so things are blacklisted from appearing where they don't make sense and the world they're on adjusts what happens.
Tears… (IYKYK)
be careful with the artifacts, after you get those on your screen, Sarah will take you on a mission, and after that there's another long-looking sequence of things that you can't break out of to do what you want… So when Sarah wants to take you somewhere for an artifact, know it's a while before you can regain control of the game… my game got hijacked, and my ship got boarded again, and i had to reload a previous save because i didn't feel like going through that… the main story characters, the Constellation people, in very small doses for me… even none at all would be best, but it's more, or less an option in the game… i hate those self-important rich pricks so much…
Chomps warns Jon of deathclaws and is surprised when big, tanky death critters attack. I now want to do a Ripley play through.
Now jon that ur in Wolf station u can now sell ur contraband with trade authority no issues.
It will be interesting when jon realizes that the den can be used to offload his contaband
Still loving this series
@ManyATrueNerd – The Den system has no scan when entering it and has a Trade Authority who buys stolen goods…..just a thought!!
The Den is Contraband scanner free to those who may find themselves with contraband…
You watch too much American TV Jon, why did you think the orphan wasn't a citizen? There's vanishingky few countries in Europe that determine citizenship by birth location instead of parents.
Jon crash sites auto appear after a space battle in orbit of a walkable planet
Jon told not to land on Tolimon II / Londinion
** Land on the planet **
Jon immediately after landing: "How dare I suffer the consequences of my own actions"
Back in those first episodes when you found contraband for the first time I was wishing you would find the den.
John use your special godly gravity powers lol
The Den in Wolf is also a great place to sell contraband. Notice you didn't get scanned on entering the system.
W the actual F. Sara has multiple broken bones, internal injuries, but yet is able to survive in a hostile environment for "almost a year"?? Then when she is rescued after surviving somehow she doesn't bother to mention to the rescue crew, "hey shuttle 2 may have made it, "maybe" we should scan the planet and try to locate other survivors"?? What kind of mickey mouse, amateur, second rate, FUBAR joke of a mission was that?? Now and then rescue of crew would be a priority.
I was shouting at the screen saying Hg is mercury, lol.
Oh bethesda games
gotta love the ol' "you accidentally put a shot into an ally now everyone hates you"
I take issue with you saying your hat isn't worthy of the chosen one as that's the same hat I wear
My favorite part about this run is that Jon's character was relentlessly hitting on Sarah until she got shot down, and then she immediately hated her. It's incredibly realistic.
Thank you jon..
Cthonia? In a System called Wolf? Does Jon find his first Geneson if he goes there? And does he have a Following called Moon Wolves or something like that? 😂
A place called "The Den" is a hub for shady business dealings? Say it ain't so!!!
Next, you'll be telling me that those things we've been seeing are, in fact, the actual terrormorphs, and it isn't just and overly dramatic name for someone's pet pug!
Definitely try to get back to Hadrian's mission at some point. That one went much further than I expected it to go. No spoilers! Will just tease by saying you will learn much more about Londinion.
if you go on a ship, it's like a bazaar ship with the Constellation MILF, she'll want to take you there to take an artifact by force if necessary, because he doesn't want to sell… i went there, got the artifact, and i lost my companion, and the robot, neither are following me, so i'm locked into the main plot right now unless i want to play solo… i don't have a save from just before that, so i'm going to go through with it, but be warned that if you go on that ship, maybe start that mission with her, you'll be screwed for a while as far as going where you want goes, … i'm not happy about this, not one bit… *frowns*
