Why settle for just one Class C, Tier III ship when you can have a fleet? Fly a different ship every day, like a Starborn gangster.
Here’s a faster, more efficient evolution to the ship strategy. Perfect for replacing the Starborn Guardian or the start of your next entrepreneurial adventure in Starfield New Game Plus.
At the end, I list 20+ ships that spawned and why it’s likely your civic duty to take a few of them.
HUGE THANKS to Mikehp920, Nognosis2012, and Engleericj for the recommendations that make this work even better.

Yeah, I've been farming the outer high level systems for ships, Bohr ang Hugens have been the best for me. I've gotten so many high level ships. Just watch out, about 85% of the time I'll crash the game when trying to fast travel the ship to my outpost. So I'd suggest doing a save right before you sit in the pilot chair. Last night I got two Wight 3s and two Hyena 3s in less than an hour. But I tried lower level system and couldn't get anything.
What am I doing wrong I haven’t found a single one.
See I just learned something, I didn't know some ship vendors have more money. I usually sell my expensive ships at my outpost, since I do 90% of my updates there, and all the credits stay at your outpost.
Has anyone else noticed that you can now get the mk 1 armor set in superior
If we chase perfection we can catch excellence – and that is what we do when we follow Kineer!
It worked. Got to the entry for the Claymore III and, wait for it, it was inaccessible 🙂 Are you fkm?
I'm thinking the ships are still landing, we are not getting the graphic animation of the ship.
Neon core has Tayo Engineering in the Ruijin tower. it also has 160,000 initial credits 🙂
Congratulations! (500 Subscribers) You have done in under a month what I have been trying to do for three years. I truly enjoyed watching you grow.
As always concise and on point. Even with a spreadsheet of results.
try in 3rd person
I am curious if the Freedom ship that offers the delivery package quest still lands? This ship can be obtained without killing any of the crew members, once you lie and accept the package, you drop a beacon as close to the ship as possible, fly to another system and once returning to the outpost the ship is still there without any of the crew members allowing you to take control of that ship.
I've not yet download the latest patch as I have auto updates turned off but after watching this video it seems more promising.
I use this method, but I throw a beacon at the ship landing site. And that makes it fast on second and subsequent iterations.
Good strat. It is working for me as well.
Just started playing the game only level 23 right now so I never really was able to get a new ship what is technique work around the beginning of the game
You can use the glitch where you don't have to register a ship to sell it if you want to make even more credits. There's a few videos on YouTube showing how to do it. As far as I know, it hasn't been patched in any of the updates and still works.
It depends on how you play, but, It is possible to sell unregistered ships. Thanks for the Copernicus info.
Have you done the Freestar quest yet? Will that have any impact on selling inside on Hopetech?
So my experience with Ship Landing Sites and when they show up on the scanner is only when they actually have a ship. It also seems if/when you get close to one that is empty it will spawn a ship. So maybe they did not kill ships spawning and landing .. they just now require you to be within a certain radius to cause the ship to spawn and land for you to see it.
I have found numerous landing sites with ships present.
I wonder if building a scan booster lets you detect from further away?
FYI these walkthroughs are awesome. Nobody even comes close. Random comment: Go Hawkeyes
You just need to land on Copernicus and sleep in you ship. No outpost needed.
Great video, thank you. May I make a suggestion about making the process of ship farming more efficient by placing an outpost as Close as it will allow to take ship landing site, I think it's around 250m ish. This enables you to do your quick save then travel straight to your outpost icon. You may already know this, but if not I hope it helps.
This strategy works great for me, but for some reason I never get a Hyena or Wight III, only II's. The only high end ships I get at III are the Claymore, Falcata, Prophesy, and Dirge. I've tried on Serpentis II-a, Archimedes IV-a, and Hawking I-a. I'm level 102 on my first NG+.
Any idea on how I could get a Hyena or Wight III to spawn? Either of those are the ship I really want.
I'm on 2A thanks to this . Thanks. Ships are definitely landing. Very good selection too.
Have been having great luck on the moons of serpentis.
Yes, you made my Day!
Tanks a lot!
