Starfield Home Sweet Home Achievement Guide – Build an Outpost
To build an outpost, free roam on a planet and open the Scanner (Xbox: LB/PC: F), walk around until the “Outpost” prompt at the bottom of the screen turns from gray to white, then you can press Xbox: X / PC: R to place an Outpost.
This only works in certain areas, not everywhere. You will usually need to walk away from the landing site for a couple hundred meters/yards until a suitable outpost location is available. Placing the outpost is enough for this achievement, no need to build anything else.

Anyone figured out how to access the transfer container storage from your ship?
anyone know the keybind (if there is one) to quick enter the build mode? pressed just about everything and looked through the keybinds but so far only way i can see to enter the build mode in an outpost is to interact with the beacon
Anyone else having the problem of your ship not landing on the landing pad? But in random places near the base?
Anyone figured out how to build outposts on small moons? I always geht the error that the population of the planet/moon isn't high enough. But why ist this a requirement for building an outpost?

Is there really no quest attached to settlement building like in FO 4?? Is it really just start the game with a tip of building a settlement??
how do you raise and lower an item placed on the ground such as a launch pad?
The problem with this game you cant land it manually or flying ship inside planet… really sad… No Man Sky delivering true planet exploration… you guys just never learn…
On which planets/moons shoudl you settle resource-wise?
Not that you need to bring tons and tons of resources towards them to keep them running and be able to build them?
So will be be Helium, Iron or rare metals and non metals?
I have two questions: 1 everything necessary to build those things need to be with me or in my ship?
2- How do I store things on the ship? lol
