  2. I really hope they didn't blow there "budget" on these 1000 worlds and instead said hey we can make more why not. I just don't understand the 1000 why not do 100 and put 10x the effort into those instead. Idk, here's to hoping we don't get another No Man's Sky / Elite Dangerous. It does seem like they've done what star citizen has been "trying" to do in about 1/3 the time. 🤞

  3. I just realized that it's going to be really difficult to keep track of which mods are going to be compatible with one another. Obviously people are going to install a ton of mods to fill in empty space, and there is potential for mods to occupy the same space

  4. I have concerns about the game:
    1. Gunplay feels rather flat
    2. AI doesn't looks like improvement over past games
    3. How alive will be this world? With so many planets it would be nice to have procedural generated settlements that weren't build from ground up by the player to make planets feel alive.
    4. Will there be constant hand-crafted updates for the game to increase it's value?

  5. A lot of folks talk about the NMS influence, and yes of course it's there. But I see an huge inspiration from Mass Effect. I wouldn't be surprised to find they just "scaled up" the planet-hopping nature in ME for 1000+ planets. Seems cool to me.

  6. I hope they don't hint of an alien race that we only see remnants of like they did with the Dwarvin race in Elder Scrolls. Yes, I know we met one in the series but felt like a cop out

  7. Even Skyrim used procedural generation. It's nothing out of the ordinary for BGS. Daggerfall was mostly procedural generated itself and was the biggest game ever made at the time

  8. The tree tops were flat like on Dreamcast. I hope they took the opportunity with some worlds to create horror and darkness. That's one of the things I loved about Skyrim was experiencing a gentle balance between how scary the draugr and other characters were. I think they should intensify the horror a bit on a few of the planets because you didn't get much of that content with Skyrim. We need some things that push the boundary but don't necessarily stand in our way of completing the game. Like a bunch of hipsters stealing parts from your shop for money, or Cathy Bates leading a mob of space gear thieves.

  9. One great thing about this kinda game is the DLCs and extra content is endless! Just keep adding planets and let’s say one planet has some crazy alien species or a virus outbreak or a missing research team or zombies or some new military force just anything. Hell a planet could even be those damn BUGS and we need the starship troopers to go and take them out! 😂😂

  10. 14:19 this creature appears to be the same creature that was in this frame (8:39) it's probably a Kreet creature that was being studied in the lab, so this shot (14:19) is probably in the same place, inside the research lab.

The unique things in Fallout 4 are still unique even though you can make the same weapons by crafting them because legendary perks change a weapon or armor a lot and make them much better or worse depending on the perk and weapon. Probably this system with legendary enemies and legendary perks will exist in Starfield too, and I hope so, because I love it.

  11. I doubt that they removed looting. I think they just didn't show it because it wasn't that important for the gameplay reveal. Bethesda has had looting for a long time. I have a hard time believing that they'd remove it for a game as expansive as Starfield

  12. I know why you feel good now, you realized the power of the modding community with this game! This game will shatter every game award record ever set, except maybe in texture/graphics.

  13. Just throwing my thoughts out there. Starfield should have a "progressive" open world. Features should be like
-Planets, cites, Outpost and technology should develop as time passes in the game
*Any character built outpost should be able to develop into larger cities.
*The player should be given the option to terraform planets mid to late game
*The player should be able to create his own faction as well as promote leaders within the faction with their own character development system That increase their stats over time. The player should be able to send these "leaders" to do tedious fetch missions, defend outpost or planets, ectera… Have these "leaders" mission success based on how qualify they are. For example: you wouldn't pick a scientist to go attack an enemy outpost. You wouldn't pick a mercenary to research how to make spaceships more fuel efficient.
*These "leaders" can develope traits over time.
*Permadeath is an option but The player should be given a chance to save a "leader" or if the mission difficulty isn't high the leader may be able to survive and retreat that mission. The "leader" should not always die because they failed a mission.
*Multiple leaders can be picked to be on a mission together.
*Factions can choose to be allies and supply each other with food, money, fuel, people, ships, research and or tech.
*Each Faction should be able to upgrade their technology overtime. Example: the main character outpost's science facility should be able to create a less bulky but longer oxygen sustaining space suit.
Another example: overtime a faction is able to create a faster, more durable fighter.

-Wars, pirates, economy, and happiness should affect the development system.
-example: if a war was to break out on a planet it could have a major impact on the cities there.
-The player indirect actions can have effects on wars. Let's say the player does not pick sides on a war but decides to attack a key outpost or assassinate a key figure, it should have a major impact for that faction and can cause a shift in the war. Another example: The player's economical or scientific decisions can have an impact on a war as well.
*Biological weapons, robots, creating clones and zombies should be added can affect factions and planets reputation.
-aliens should be diverse and included in the game as well.
*Intelligent aliens should not be just a different colored human.
*Aliens can be discovered on planets mid to late game.
*Factions can choose to be acceptable or hostile to alien races.

Overall, if Bethesda is going to create this open world(s) game they need to step it up and be new and innovative with this concept. Don't just be lazy and give us blank planets with nothing to do and expect modders to create everything. Skyrim stood the test of time but it wasn't just because of the modders. vanilla Skyrim was immersive and it gave the players decisions that can affect their playthrough Every time they play. The decision gave it great replayability to where Bethesda could rerelease the game every other year and make profit off of it. I'm not asking for starfield to have a crusader kings 3 type of system. I just want the game to feel like it's a living breathing system and not like the world freezes in place when I leave an area. Giving us as players the option to maybe have a playthrough where we didn't defeat hundreds of NPCs to win a war. We can simply just assassinate a leader and watch it crumble or just simply supply one side too help them win maybe….🤷🏿‍♂️

  14. I just realized, I think we've been looking at serpent's embrace wrong. It says we have to GRAV jump to boost health endurance and then later the ship building shows grav jump fuel. I think the buff is triggered whenever you jump from system to system, not physically jumping

  15. The Constellation chick face, looks top notch!! Especially for today's gaming, lol I can't believe youtubers complained about the eyes, im attracted to her! I can stare in that face for a long time, and her lips match the voice and words to a T,
(I can easily get lost in the conversations like NEVER BEFORE, going by how the Npc's look face to face)

but seriously, I think an order has been placed to try and destroy this game…. because the haters have such WEAK arguments! THE GAME LOOKS GREAT, AND IT WILL PREVAIL! (I can't wait!)

  16. 10:55 I think it looks top notch, I just think we are not used to so much detail in a video game, it looks better that GEARS5 in my opinion, the way her face and lips move and the realism. I think it matches real life more than it matches videogame. (Wait until we see it on Series X and PC)

  17. 18:42 hmm, in ESO, I see alot of players that love to keep jumping like it's an addiction, especially in combat, so maybe Bethesda is on to something here 🤔…

it annoys me to see players that keep jumping in ESO though…

  18. That dungeon theory make sense, and will be very satisfying. We can't expect developers to be God and create 1000 whole planets for a pc or xbox console lol, let's cut them some slack and be greatful they put this thing together to experience.

  19. I can say I'll be maxing out the saturation in my monitors settings or modding to do it. As gorgeous as some of the cities look, the visuals are a bit too washed out.

  21. I like the idea of a thousand planets… You know there's going to be a few dozen that have some great hidden lore. Makes me think of the trinket that activates the prothean sphere in Mass Effect 1. That made an impression on me…

  22. I thought "Oh it's gonna be Fallout" when I first heard about this, I wasn't really into space stuff before and Fallout is already kinda travelling on another alien planet. But lately I've been playing No Man's Sky and Star Citizen, and I've been loving both games for a few months now, I love No Man's Sky's base building, fun exploring and space stuff; while on Star Citizen I love the immersion and the level of simulation that made me realize my dream of becoming a space delivery man; however NMS seems a bit empty and void despite the almost countless planets and alien life, while Star Citizen is buggy and glitchy AF(doesn't stop me from reconnecting though); I find Starfield looking to be a good compromise, not as immersive as Star Citizen and probably not having as much freedom as NMS, but It would be a complete/finished game with actually populated areas.
