  1. They want the success and profit of Stardew without any of the work and depth. They think they can just pump out a lazy copycat and get the same level of success and money.

  2. Hey @MRIZ Thats alot of GOOD titles i saw there 😂 . I don't think the genre gonna die as long as it continue's to add their own unique spend too it like weapons different characters outfits boss battles playable characters plot/storylines music etc.. YOU get the idea girl 😂. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍴🍛🍹

  3. I disagree somewhat with the inclusion of Graveyard Keeper. It's not really a farming sim but a crafting game, farming is a side activity that takes basically no work other than being annoying to do. I'm not going to say that GK wasn't inspired by SV to some extent, but for all its SIGNIFICANT issues, it did create a unique experience that is completely different from SV.

    Great video.

  4. Many games are just a Stardew Valley clone disguised with a different aesthetic but with the same ideia without any originality.
However, there games that when we analyze by ourselves we can see a lot of care and details, this games deserve our attention guys.
Sorry if my English is bad, hugs from Brazil 🙂

  5. Besides SoS: A Wonderful Life for nostalgic reasons, I haven’t really been captivated by any of the newer farming sims that have come out lately. I backed Littlewood and it was quite fun, but I found I went back to Stardew after I finished the main story. I find that a lot of the games that lead with “Stardew and Animal Crossing inspired” fall short of being interesting or immersive. If I wanted to play Stardew or Animal Crossing, I would.

  6. I've played Stardew Valley for hundreds of hours over the years and I still LOVE it! Still it's great to try something new and so I've started Coral Island and Sun Haven, but the latter really got me. I love how it took SV and put a unique spin on it. One thing the devs should defnitely copy is SVs DLC culture – free updates. Sun Haven puts out a ton of pricey DLCs that don't even provide a lot of new content, just cosmetics, and I feel that should be free. But for now I love the game. I also want to try out Roots of Pacha as it looks really unique, too. I'll pick up Coral Island again eventually I think, but for now I'm an elf just happy to ride his bee around town. ^^
