  1. As of the 1.5 patch I'd say there's plenty more late game content. Yes the holidays are samey though if you're married that dialogue changes a bit at least, but that's a minor gripe when there's so much wise you won't be able to experience the first year of the game because you just haven't unlocked much.

  2. I love this game but I can't play it. It stresses me out because I can't choose when to end my day. I find myself trying to do as much as I can in a day hoping I haven't screwed up and for example planted something just before a new season arrives killing these plants. Life already does this for me. If I can choose when to end a day without the stress of time management and the energy meter then I would live in this game. 😅

  3. Is it worth it? Yes, it runs well on the Switch and its a perfectly fine farming game.
Personally tho, a lot of the stuff that I like in this game aren't original ideas, they're mostly borrowed from other games mostly Story of Seasons, so this game doesn't feel too refreshing. The game added too many things I don't like and having other farming games follow this system kinda sucks. The best things that came from this game is same sex marriage and a great co-op, I just need to find friends that actually wants to play this game for long long time lol.

  4. This is the game that got me hooked on games. Co-workers were discussing this game and made it sound fun and relaxing. Hmmm…maybe it would be a good entry-level game for me, the non-gamer. I loaded it on a basic desktop computer and gave it a try. Hundreds of hours, several spreadsheets , and one perfection farm later, I am in love. I now have a Switch and a gaming PC, and am playing all kinds of games. I’ll always love Stardew Valley for the kind way it introduced me to the obsessive fun in games.

  5. I actually came back to this game last month for essentially the first time. It was a well timed thing because i had so much happening in my personal life that i just needed to sit back, chill out, and give an in-game character a present, oh and watering my crops.

  6. As someone who has put 600+ hours and made one Perfection farm on the Switch version of Stardew Valley, this game is totally worth it. Super fun and addicting. Easy 10/10 for me.

  7. I didn’t know the switch version had split screen! This is one of the few games my wife fell in love with (mobile version), and we always thought it would be fun to play together but didn’t want to get the switch version since we only have one switch. Thanks for clueing us into that!

  8. I just recently passed 1,100 hours on the switch alone and I still can (and will) put in another 1000+ with how much I want to do on the many farms that I have. I also have over 200 hours on PC, maybe 5 hours on mobile (not a fan of mobile controls personally), and I just recently bought a PS5 so I had to get it for PS5 as well and I’ll probably be starting a new farm there soon.

I cannot recommend this game enough.

  9. I know this sounds a bit stupid, but man would I love to see serious reviews of your old childhood games (or Alex’s or Zion’s childhood games)

I’m from 1999 and my childhood games are Donald Duck: Goin’ Quackers (Quack Attack in Europe), LEGO Racers, Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time, 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue, Super Mario Land, etc.

  10. Stardew Valley is by far one of the best games I’ve ever played. Starting a new farm with a friend and playing together never gets old either. I definitely recommend it!
