  1. Missed opportunity: Is giving the player an Artifact that lets you teleport to bases but uses extracted monster blood or radiation to function!
    1) Solves the worst feeling parts of the game (traveling with a full weighted inventory)
    2) You now have a reason to fight monsters (they aren't just bullet sponges anymore)
    3) Artifacts should use this extracted radiation from monsters to function instead of having a downside……because the downsides of using artifacts is usually too annoying/ inconveniencing that I never use them.

  2. When the hell in the old games where you getting into combat every few minutes?? I'm at Call of Prikyat and combat only POSSIBLY happens when you reach a mission location and in the middle of the objective.

  3. Stalker 2 comes with propaganda of fascism at the request of the developer. They want to kill all women and children, old people, but only Russians. And then who is the Czech Republic or the Lithuanians after them. Today I heard a song in the streams with such an intention, I do not know if there are many more such songs, but if there are songs, then there will probably still be references from developers with a message from the Russians.

  4. I felt the same way about the story, that it felt incoherent, but by the time you get to the Clear Sky base, the pieces of the puzzle have fallen into their places, painting a pretty coherent picture. I wasn't expecting much from the story, but ~35 hours in, with probably less then halfway done with the story, I quite like it. The investigative part in the beginning, where you try to track down the people who attacked you can be quite incoherent at first when you don't know who's who and what the new factions represent, but I'd imagine the same missions in a second walkthrough would be a lot more fun.

  5. 7:45 if you pay attention to the quests, you find that everyone is full of crap. Those two are not brothers, they don't even share the same last name. If you break down the entire quest, he "claims" that the brother died from the anomalies (even though you can't pick up bodies after being hit by said anomaly), the brother clearly has a bullet hole through his head with blood splatter everywhere, and he only pays you literal pennies for risking your life when the artifact is worth 5x as much.

  6. Having playing 35 hours of the game myself I have to say, I respect your opinions but this is a horrible review. You need a vacation dude. This was you being burned out games. Take your fast travel and shove it up your ass. It’s just a meme review. Be a critic.

  7. I have been hearing a lot about bugs and glitches but I'm 8hrs in and the only bug ive had is when I select an upgrade and close the menu and reopen to select the same upgrade and it won't let me, easily fixed by selecting a different upgrade then trying again

  8. IF A-Life 2.0 was actually working in-game, the running for 10mins straight wouldn't feel so tedious. Hell, Call of Pripyat has more heart than this, even with its aged graphics and buggy missions. atleast the zone felt alive.

  9. Единственные обзоры которые мне реально нравятся, ведь они о игре. Среди нас, главном комьюнити игры сейчас просто поливание друг друга дерьмом и за одно игру, хотя потенциал у нее есть.

  10. A lot of the criticism in this blantantly false. A lot of the characters are actually foreigners inside the country this is why they sound off. The game performance is actually pretty good. I haven't seen serious lag since I bought it.

  11. Listen mate right, these videogames arent good for ya.. life advice, ready. Get good at bench pressing. Run a five by five for 3 months then go to 10 by 3. Use JM presses as an accessory and get arms mate. Ive been running the 531 and ive got girls wanting to feel my arms daily.

  12. If they just fixed the repair costs this game could be amazing. After 15 hours I quickly realized the repair costs are unsustainable. You go out hunt for artifacts and dropped weapons but by time you go back you realize you need 20k coupons to repair your gear but only made 5 to 10k in your hunt.

Pro tip DONT equip higher end armor and helmet the repair costs will eat you alive. Stick to starting gear and just upgrade it to max and you will cut your repair from 15-20k to 5k that’s a huge cost cut. Least until they patch it if they decide to.

  13. Great review and agree with a lot of points. But am surprised one thing missing in this that made old games so immersive wasn't mentioned… even weirder that u did touch AI behavior but only for combat vs you: remember when old games had environment vs environment battles. Enemy faction vs mutants, enemy faction vs other stalkers or other friendly factions… and you could either join those or wait them out and get dat loot. Also the bodies would stay there for long time so u can go sell stuff, come back for more loot and sell even more. Now tho the ai just seems to spawn near you and once you leave they despawn. If you think you cleared area and start looting more will spawn. There aren't any or at least not many random missions where they call for your help. The world just feels less lively now. I think i will wait for mods to maybe fix these few issues game has now. And sadly i feel like its the engines fault as it might not be able to remember bodies or alive ai locations. So maybe even modders can't help!? I still have clear sky and pripryat games unfinished so i have stuff to keep me busy while waiting. I have big respect towards dev team but at the same time am bit disappointed.

  14. people have probably already said this but I will anyway since I just played through most of the game, I'm close to gettting to pripyat now in the main quest.

The sequence at 20:06 can be entirely avoided, you can actually stealth it ( i played on the hardest difficulty). While this might be bugged, keep in mind there is a patrolling bloodsucker along with the sleeping ones, he can't see unles you are quite close. The problem is that the game doesn't show the stealth meter for monsters, only humans, so you don't know if you are spotted by monsters as well.

And if you wonder whether you have to fight them anyway since there is one you have to kill further down, no you can kill that one and not agroo the others.

There is no benefit to killing them you can just avoid them, or get underground and use the ladder to get in a cage room and just cheese them until they dead. I tried killing them in the open but once you are down on veteran and are fighting more than 2 mutants that can knock you down you will die regardless of equipment, it's just bad game design from a combat perspective. At least in the original games you could still heal or shoot while you were getting hit.

  15. As the game states, for the really special artifacts the zome must love you, i dont quite know how to achieve that but i have found a couple really nice ones in my firat 10 ish hours, its part rng part timing, going out after emissions gives the best chance, tho i haven't actually found any thaat reduce radiation yet so i cant really use the ones i have.

There are also REALLY special ones that are unique you get from specific anomalys.

  16. a lot of cope for this game. its not goty and its buggy as fuck. not saying its terrible as the bit i did manage to play was decent. but all these people acting like bugs are not a thing or are "ignorable" when they have literally been crashing peoples games including mine or so atrociously bad that shooting is made a chore because of the constant frame dips and texture pops is just serious cope.

Is it a bad game? no def not. Is it goty? fuck no not by any metric. is it a decent mid game that would please the old fans and maybe get some new ones? sure

  17. Stalker 2 is hands down my Game of the Year. I'm sick of all these indie games that give you a quick dopamine rush for an hour and then you forget about them. Stalker 2 finally brings back that real, raw gaming experience I've been missing. It's challenging, brutally beautiful, the atmosphere is insane, and the sound design is top-notch. I sank 19 straight hours into it on release day…. ican't even remember the last game that made me do that. This is what gaming should be at least for games that deserve it and this one does.
I feel so sorry for everyone who got hurt by this Game but its just as simple as it it. Its not meant for you hippidi hype Gamers.
Its kinda like a Love Letter to all those Stalker fans.. and i love it

  18. The yellow on ladders and stuff can actually be turned off in the options, interactable object highlight i think, it is yellow on purpose to show players these objects can be climbed, broken or interacted with
