If you like those then you might like "Them" and "From"
Only thing I disagree with is grotesquerie. It starts off strong then gets confusing towards the middle and ends kind of weak. But if you’re familiar with Ryan Murphy then you kind of expect that at this point. Last few AHS seasons have been kind of weird like that too.
I made the mistake of checking out The Bay while having dinner, BIG mistake guys.
If you like zombie movies, a couple of good tv series were Reality Z from Brazil (Portuguese language) and Dead Set from the UK (English language).
Dead set is 5 episodes (same basic as first 5 of reality z). Reality z continues the story from episode 6 to 10.
The premise takes on a reality tv take with a Big Brother type of tv show having the cast isolated when a zombie outbreak takes place leaving them locked and no contact.
If Kanan says it's good, it's GOOD. I should have subscribed long ago. Well….I just did.
I was lucky enough to see "Curse of the Demon" on the big screen at our main library auditorium last year. It was a lot of fun.
Thanks for recommending Teacup! I didn’t know it is based on a Robert McCammon novel. I absolutely loved Swan Song and Boys Life.
Grotesquerie was sooo good!
Also so many twists…. def binge easy
Saw Little Monsters and thought maybe it was the Fred Savage and Howie movie, but nope. Good for you on watching these, but not for me. If anyone hasnt seen the one I'm talking about- it's the best movie ever. Buy it.
I see the PHANTASM CUDA behind you, KNARLY!! I've been in love with that car ever since the first time that I seen PHANTASM 1-2. It looks better on part 2.
I definitely need to check out Teacup. Stinger is just an incredible book. I know it's just loosely based on it from what I've heard, but that's OK it still looks good.
Just watched Deer Camp 86 and thought it was a lot of fun.
Travis Kelce is actin?? Isnt he a football player
Curse of the Demon(Night of the Demon UK) influenced the film Drag Me to Hell and the Muriel Grey novel FURNACE.
I’m guessing this director isn’t the Ian McCullough from Echo And The Bunnymen, right?
Speaking of black-and-white movies, k, have you seen Night of the Hunter. It's kind of horror/thriller but it's such a beautiful looking film. The Director was a gay man who had to be closeted due to being the 1950s but man this film is just beautiful to watch and the music in it. Stunning. It's not a musical, but a pretty brutal film for the time. I recommend this film for anyone, as it's a must see and just take the beauty of the cinematography. Night of the hunter… Look it up it's wonderful if you have not covered or seen it yet. And thanks again for another fantastic group of movies. I can now watch.
Sorry but I’m going to say it again, last stop in Yuma county hasn’t been mentioned on your lists. I’ve been following you for 3+ years now and I’m sorry, but it’s a must watch that I highly highly x10 recommend. Best movie in the last 3 years.
Teacup may be the worst thing I watched this year, and I watched Daryl Dixon.
Would you consider doing an episode by author? Do a show of Stephen King’s top five or Stephen King’s lesser appreciated greatest hits like Rose Red and Night Flyer and Storm of the Century? I’d love to see an episode on the work of author Whitley Strieber. One of the really interesting werewolf movies out there is called Wolfen and yes, it’s old as hell but really worth it. It’s based on one of his books. Another one of his books is called The Hunger and that movie literally formed some people’s sexuality. It’s old, but there’s nothing dated about it. Even the kids will recognize David Bowie and Susan Sarandon. It’s just timeless. I also think that with all the interest in UFO culture, it would be interesting to hear your audience’s view and your reaction to the movie Communion with Christopher Walken. When that book and its striking cover came out, it was mind blowing.
I started watching Tea Cup then I read some reviews and stopped. Now that you recommend it….I watch it for sure!!!! ✌️✌️
grotesquerie is one i ddnt know of ……really love ryan murphy's movies…..thannks ghostpirate
I love that you are including more of the classics lately. I always love when I happen to catch one, but for some reason, I never think to stream them. So, thanks.
Thanks!
I love the back and forth rivalry with the addictions of the mom and daughter in Grotesquerie. It really feels real and made me very emotional. The acting from everyone is great.
WOLF,GOOD LORD,MICHELE ,STUNNING. NUFF SAID.
Kainan, Have you seen "Channel Zero," "Dark," and "Lovecraft Country"?
Curse of the demon, what a great suggestion! 🎶it's in the trees, it's coming🎶
I loved Little Monsters, can’t believe it hasn’t been talked about more.
Im gonna check out FRANKENHOOKER this weekend. Why? Because Ghost Pirate said so!!
Has anyone seen FALL yet? Maybe not a horror movie, unless youre scared of hights. That one I highly recommend.
Thank you, thank you for mentioning Grotesquerie !! I hear a ton of buzz for Teacup but not this show . I absolutely love this series and I can’t get enough of Neicy Nash. She’s great in everything she’s in. I loved her in Scream Queens too.
My daughter and I checked out sting last night pretty fun watch
Fire intro! 🔥
You were BORN for this! I am so like you it’s unbelievable love love love you dude!
Love your recommendations, we seem to have the same likes! 😂
Kristy is great! I stumbled upon this a while back… and just started Tea Cup! 👍🏻Time to dig out some Xmas horror! 🎅🏻🔪
2024 horror movies I loved . Late night with the devil , substance and oddity.
Need to do a shout out to Tony Todd….can’t believe he passed!! RIP My King of Horror
I mean, if i come up so close to Michelle Pfeiffer i become a Wolf too…rrrrrrr
Frankenhooker 🤣🤭😶☠️
Ah I put Grotesquerie on my watchlist this past Thursday- but it looked a bit too similar to your average Ryan Murphy show for me 😅
But you are seriously backing it? I shall reconsider 🖤
Loved FRANKENHOOKER….. Probably because after seeing it in the theater, had my first 3some….. He he he……..
I know people are going to hate me for this but…Kristy > Hush.
I agree with Little Monsters. I don’t even remember many people talking about it when it came out, but it’s a great watch.
Have you seen the tv series Carnivale 2003? It has Clancy Brown. It can seem slow but it is worth the wait. Things takes a delicously twisted f’ed up turn.
I wanna check out teacup at some point. And grotesquerie.
This larper just recommends every “horror” movie being released, he literally recommended an Australia horror movie with a black lead! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 talk about dei blindness
Sting is wonderful. Loved All Eyes through the twists and turns. The Bay is excellent
I watched that movie on his T-Shirt when it came out. Who else did?
