Those Square Enix acquisition rumours just won’t go away, Call of Duty takes a big hit, but Microsoft (and Sony) bet big on it recovering and Guild Wars 3 is currently in the works? Maybe?

  1. "Must have" & "unique" in the context of the MS statement to regulators is specific legalese for not something customers are required to have & not something competitors couldn't create an equivalent to respectively. They're being literal, not downplaying the quality of the IP. Sounds dumb taken out of context, but you can bet MS lawyers are choosing their words carefully. As are Sony's, who essentially tried to argue the exact opposite.

  2. As someone who could only make it through one hour of Outer Wilds due to bad motions sickness and headache – does this mean that with 60 fps, this should no longer be an issue? I don't really understand why I get motion sickness on some games. I always thought it was first person view that caused it, but I can play some first person games fine and of the others, none were as bad for me as Outer Wilds. Anyone who knows more about this?

  3. I've stopped buying games day one that are overtly political, if its a game I want to play I'll buy it second hand do devs don't see a penny, if it's just a great game I'll support it, I know I'm not alone because everyone bar 5 people out of my 1.5k 'friends' across PS and XB, and their friends also, so far from alone, we will see how Saints Row ridiculous looking launch works out, it should be good because they have a basically free launch window with not much competition, let's see.

  4. Guild Wars….feck away off with that and most all mmo's, MP is losing steam and SP is making a huge comeback from the brink, SP games will always sell if done well and divisive politics dialed down, way the f down.

  5. This man just dropped the ball on GigaBash, smh. Hope he gives it a shout out next episode as it just dropped 2 days ago. A quirky, surprisingly deep Kaiju Brawler that is a lot of fun with 4 players

  6. SONY is complaining about CoD determining console purchases?

This is an entire warehouse of pots calling a kettle black. Just let Microsoft reap the CoD benefits and you reap the God of War, FromSoft, and fighting game benefits.
