  1. First and foremost, I would like to thank Momo (XR Productions) for the awesome collaboration! His productions are very very underrated and of high quality, I adore his atmosphere building in emotional parts. I feel like Momo fill that hole that I have been kind of struggling to do in my own compositions. I learnt a lot when we were calling and sharing our project sessions through Discord and I really appreciate that. It makes me happy as well that he learnt something with the way I produce my tracks and my though process. Once again, thank you so much Momo for this awesome opportunity and I wish nothing but the best for your future in your career and I hope we can do more collaborations in the future!

    Moving on to the actual composition itself, Against All Odds has been ‘haunting’ me the past few months, I’ve been meaning to create an epic cover of it but I can’t seem to work something out. So technically this project has been on hold for so long until Momo came in and gave a lot of inspirations for the track with his own signature sounds and compositions. The point of this collaboration is to not show how good we can make a composition together, but more into how good are we in making a composition with our own signature sound and style of composition. At first, I was afraid that our sounds would not blend well since we both use different plugins but unexpectedly our work chemistry was so nice and very pleasant so we understand each of our own wants in this track. So I think it’s safe to assume that even though we have different sounds and plugins but as long as we have the same vision we can work something out for sure.

    So the process on how we did the collaboration was all from a Discord call. We shared our screen showing the session and we always listen to each other’s WIP and do fixings based on our agreement.
    It went really smooth and quite fast since we’re quite familiar with orchestrating and all the articulations each orchestral instruments have. So every idea we promote to each other just clicked.

    Now moving on to the distribution of the compositions, we agreed that I will do the ‘epic’ part of the song and Momo will do the emotional parts. I told Momo that I really liked his emotional compositions based on his works on his channel, so it would be a wasted opportunity if we don’t showcase that in this collaboration. The reason why I take the more adrenaline rush part was because I have been shifting my productions in the past videos I’ve uploaded (more calm and not too much ‘epic’ feel), while it was really fun to make my previous videos but I don’t want to lose the essence of this channel which grew so much because of the epic versions I did and I’m really really grateful for my audience who took the time to listen and comment, liking and subscribing to this channel, honestly thank you so much! So that’s why I feel like I want to do an epic version, it has been quite some time since the last time I uploaded something like that.

    Overall, me and Momo are very happy and pleased on how this collaboration turned out and it has been a really fun experience collaborating with someone else! It truly turned out so much better than I thought it could be and I've learnt so much during the production of this track.
