Space Engineers: Escape From Mars (Episode 2) – Building a New Home!

Welcome back to Space Engineers Escape From Mars! Itโ€™s pretty clear that rescue isnโ€™t coming anytime soon. So after braving the icy mines of last episode, itโ€™s time to settle in. Itโ€™s time to build a home! In this episode, we migrate all of our stuff from the crashed ship to a new base location. And we donโ€™t forget to upgrade the rover along the way!

Check outย @Kanajashi ย for his perspective!

  1. Heyy, I was thinking and I had idea, remember when you spoke about bumpies on the earth in your 1st or 2nd video from the series "around the earth"? What if the bumpies are there to simulate water making it's way through land. Just like in reality, the water will make it's way and will go for easiest path, but it also won't be stop by anything and will just… Make it's way by moving the soil from it's way.

  3. Is this a scenario that scan be downloaded? The rover 6×6. U could stink bug it by lowering the front end a bit and raising the rear an equal amount. generally fixes my issues for a bit of time.

  4. What I do with my rovers (I got SE a while ago, that's why I haven't been around/commenting) is make them front wheel drive and steering with rear brakes. After that point, there isn't really a "minimum size" for rovers. Oh, and adjusting the strength setting so the wheels stay on the ground without the chassis scraping.

  5. This scenario came out When the game was still in beta and the basic assembler and survival kit were not available then. So I am not surprised they are not available now either

  7. 2:00 In front of you, there's nice valley to go down the hill, looks almost like a road ^^
Tip for raiding convoys, slap few gattling guns on small grid rover scout and set it to target weapons Just to disarm the turret on convoy truck then just loot it ๐Ÿ˜€
Put some heavy blocks on bottom of the rover for lower center of gravity and slap 6 wheels (3×3 or 5×5 depend how you like it)
Gattling guns are much better because of precision and less damage, just to make sure to damage the enemy turret. With auto cannon/assault cannon you will devastate convoy truck.

Can't wait to see some savlaging going on when you find Miki's Scrap ๐Ÿ˜€ (Bring him some scrap and he will give you lots of components. Also you can salvage grids on Miki's ๐Ÿ˜€

Keep up great content, series and channel Andrew
