I guess not only are we fat, loud and arrogant, but now add lethal as well to your list.
I work in a machine shop that makes parts for military aircraft and weapons. Parts are made daily for the 22 yrs I've worked there so equipment could be replaced fairly quickly
to establish a beachhead, the USA would only need to give Scotland a 12 pack of Irn Bru, and a fiver. or, Ireland would pay the USA a fiver and a 12 pack of Guinness.
Ukraine is proof that while numbers might be nice (for the russians), they aren't the end-all, be-all of a military. the training, will-to-fight, and tenaciousness count for a hell of a lot. and for these reasons, i hope there is never a UK-USA war. while we the USA may win, it would be a Pyrrhic victory and the USA would be limping, bloodied to the winner's circle, meaning that the damage we took just wouldn't be worth it. frankly, i am very glad we have the UK as a steadfast ally/brother and would never want it to be otherwise.
(i can't wait to read the friendly UK-USA nose-pinching in the comments. this ought to be funny.)
Unrelated to the subject: I am both impressed and somewhat grossed seeing you hide a toothpick in your beard.
We would never Attack our longest / Closes Allie the U.K we’re like brothers 🤝 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
"American industrial production, already the world's largest, doubled in size in four years. In the three years following the Battle of Midway, the Japanese built six aircraft carriers, while the US built 17. The US produced 33% more tanks and self-propelled guns than the entire Axis, six times as many trucks, two and half times total artillery, and twice as many machine guns. By the end of the war, America produced around 300,000 planes. The war was won as much by machine shops as by machine guns."
The likelihood of something like this ever happening are absurd. The only scenario I could ever envision would be to liberate a previously invaded Britain from an occupying force. Britain and the US are way too closely aligned on so many things that the mere idea of the US at war with the UK would send America into war within itself. It would be akin to beating up on your own family. The UK gave birth to the US. It’s the mother country. It’s not going to happen.
11 aircraft carriers and that's not including the US amphibious assault ships. US air force is the largest in the world and US navy has the 2nd largest air force. Plus the aircrafts that can be brought back into service from the boneyard. We used to have a massive ghost fleet. RIMPAC 2023 was huge.
The puppet is his character for the channel. As the audience, we never get to see him.
Yeah, the US has recently remedied it's lack of a modern anti-ship missiles with the LRASM. It's stealthy cruise missile that can be launched from ships, subs, or, aircraft, and, can strike ships, or, land targets. It can even be used in the "Rapid Dragon" system. Cargo aircraft carry pallets of AGM-158 missiles, drop them off their rear ramp, the missiles then deploy, and, can swarm their targets from multiple directions. a C-17 can carry up to 64 missiles.
Try it we have the commonwealth. The US would be attached from all sides
The US marines got taken out by a hand full off marines LoL
Your that's fuckin thick we don't have a Royal army .. British army get real . We have 4 million ex soldiers .
The channel "Mark Felton Productions" has a great video called Britain's Shrinking Military – From Cold War Colossus to Cash-strapped Shadow. I would recommend, it goes over the real size of the British military
We don't want to invade the UK we've got enough problems with this piece of s*** President we have right now
In an all out conflict, I am not sure why this is even a question
"What could the British respond with." A white flag would be a wise option.
each carrier has 70 planes each, there are 11 carriers, carriers are nuclear fueled and thus you are looking a huge time of deployment without the need to return for any reason except damage. All other needs can be delivered and resupply the carrier by other ships. Considering that no other countries are allowed to assist either side in this scenario, I am thinking that the U.S would have no worries about having enough offense available. Especially when carriers each travel with battleships, submarines and other naval ships on their flanks. not to mention the range of even non nuclear ICBMs could be sent ahead from us soil. As for aircraft, through all branches of the military there are close to 18,000 aircraft I am unsure of the estimate of current armed drones.
If the American military hand both hands untied, no ROE, and could focus on pure war….God help any country that power is focused at. Just our Navy, has the power to destroy entire nations several times over. The UK would be completely crippled before they even realize what's going on…and their air would be dominated by F-22's.
Although it will never happen, still gotta say. BRING IT ON!!!
You know ho would prolly be the ones writing up invasion plans for the UK?? … members of the UK military themselves.
As a American, I can’t even imagine such a scenario because the British have to much in common, as our beloved cousins, to ever have this take place.
Easily.
Think Poland in 1939. Admirably brave and completely toothless.
The Army is not the Royal Army, just the Army, When was the last time the USA won a war? the biggest disadvantage for the Americans is that They are Americans. Watch when the Royal Airforce nuke the White House twice.
