  2. Dang, this ending gave Eggman the slightest of better reputations. This man made an AI, called it his KID, and then by the looks of it, legitimately felt hurt when it went kaboom. Sure, Eggman feels SOMETHING when his badniks get bashed, and this might only be me, but I don't think Eggman's ever really felt sorrow to the destruction of a creation of his. Makes me feel like there's a slim chance that Good ol' Baldy McNosehair could have some kind of rehabilitation in some crazy, strange alternate universe.

  10. One of the things that I most liked in the story ih how they humanize Eggman in the final
    Like, he might be a mad scientist who wants to defeat sonic and take over the world, but he's still a human who have feelings and things that he consider precious and want to take care
    The way they show this is so awesome

  11. One thing that I dont see anyone mention here is that Super Sonic is finally put to use again. And to make things better, they are using him like a conventional weapon and use him for all of the bossfights. It's like they are making up for a long decade of no super sonic because the last time he is under any actual use, it was all the way back in Unleashed when you went against Perfect Dark Gaia (maybe Black Knight too if you count that). Color and Lost World doesnt need Super Sonic at all. The Sonic Boom sub franchise practically doesnt have him and Forces is well, Forces.
    It's just so good to see him again like this after a decade long of absence.

  13. really hope Sage gets more use as she has the chance to become a fan favourite character who gives Eggman a much more human connection than Orbot and Cubot do, don't get me wrong they have their place in the franchise but giving Eggman a creation who he genuinely loves and views as a daughter is a very different dynamic. She could be both an ally to Sonic as well as loyal to Eggman as her father and it would be different to Shadow because he is basically just a rogue who works with whoever he thinks is good for his life

  20. The game would be even more perfect if they camouflaged the "accidental popping" with glitched things (mountains, trees) randomly popping in the islands, so the popping wasn't as annoying.

  29. I honestly love how sonic kept telling the one person who could explain everything.

    "Tell me what's going on and I'll figure out what to do from there."

    Kind of shows that he's not just some hothead anymore. Still cocky but he's always open to listening. Plus Sage has already become a loved character from what I can tell.

    I now wonder if this is a build up for Tails to get his own game?🤔 Shoot, maybe even Knuckles and Amy would get one too!(I would die of happiness if Amy got her own game).
    Wishful thinking aside-
    What an interesting game, I'm glad Sega decided to take things seriously again, hope to see more Sonic games like this in the future.🙏✨

    Also father Eggman for life, I need more of that!!!😭💖💖💖💖

  38. The character writing is OFF THE CHARTS!! Unlike Forces & Colours, Sonic ain't a "simple-minded" fool anymore.But, no offence to the VA who played Sonic, why does Sonic sound like he's about to cry in almost every piece of dialogue? 😂😅 Is this still Roger Craig Smith?
