Songs of Justs (2020-23) was a song cycle created to spark the conversations in the aspects of struggles for black men, women and children. “Just a Thought” speaks on the idea of using the advantages of birds’ wings to fly away from the world’s evil. “Just a Glimpse” speaks on the misconception that we can successfully hide cruel world treatment from children. “Just Love” speaks on the control the world holds on our women. “Just Hate” are the thoughts of a black man stopped in his tracks by a cop. “Justice” represents our forever search for justice in a world where it is consistently denied.
